What happened to the new fun, caring, optimistic, Mindfly? Malt's can still be effective killing penalties/blocking shots (aka special teams). Reminds me, I will miss Lilja.

From time to time, I will wake up hyperventilating and in a cold sweat. After sitting up and calming myself, I wipe the tears from my eyes, and rest my head on the pillow. Slowly close my eyes and pray to god that Crosby and Malkin will play in the KHL, while Bettman becomes the commissioner for Nascar. Saying to myself, all will be OK, you are safe. But seriously, it was a BS game and penalties should of been called. Eff the Pens, Bettman, and the refs.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and wish you all the best. Prayers and thoughts are with you. On a side note, with situations like this, everyone needs to play it safe. Anyone remember a member here a long time ago had a dog and needed surgery? Well, Matt was kind enough to start a collection, and think it was well over $1,000 dollars so this dog could have surgery. It was all a scam. You have a valid point there. Unless the person is deaf.

Eaves is a really good guy and this is a great cause! As for Eaves walking and the word "stumbled" in your post, well, had to do it.. All in fun. I am a fan on Eaves.

That is where a 2-3 year contract filled with bonuses based on performances comes into play. I think with players like this who acknowledge it, should get those types of contracts. "If you didn't play well, could we renegotiate and pay you less?"

Good signing by the Nucks. Wonder what line he will play on or be paired with Sammy Davis Jr Jr. They could always loan him to a team in Europe, more specifically Switzerland and sign Niemi.

If he needed surgery, we would not be informed until it was deemed necessary or know the entire nature of the injury. Prime examples are Lilja (more was going on than the general public knew) and Hossa played with a wonky shoulder.

I think some people have a short-term memory issue of the last successful playoff run. Osgood had an up and down season and when Hasek was replaced, someone named Chris Osgood stepped and well Not to take away from Howard's play last year, but I want to see how this season turns out. Sophomore year for a rookie tender can go south quick.

Bert is a different type of player; he is more old school (in my eyes). One hand on the stick and uses the body to force his way off people to get a shot. He has a tendency to drop the puck off as if there is another playing trailing to come up and set up a play.
