Lines really look good on paper. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of chemistry this team can put together. Hudler replacing Williams who replaced Hudler. Modano replacing Sammy. I wonder if Willa Ford would be up for putting on some "shows" during intermission... MMMMM, stacked... Kronner's knee is still bothering him. Also, it will be interesting to see how Big E handles the season; same goes for Kindl.

As you are a newcomer to LGW, a friendly atmosphere is the typical welcome. Yet, with the lack of quality in your posts and the bloated ego sense of self-worth along with the omnipotent user-name, you will have a steady decline to denial with self-loathing derived from lack of emotional support from all peers around.

You really need to contact Matt and change your username bro. You have a computer in front of you, look it up.

Wings always have a history of bringing in or keeping a vet goaltender. Well, we shall see how this all plays out.

Willa Ford One lucky SOB

I do not see Miller doing anywhere either. Only reason why I say this is because he is a strong 2-way player and an excellent PKer. Helm replaces Draper Miller replaces Maltby My concern is the thread and article on mlive on how Kronner's knee is still bothering him. With Salei replacing Lilja, IF something may happen (and the Wings need to treat it as if it will in my eyes), a backup plan (aka player who can fill his role) needs to be ironed out as well.

Just for you Abby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AogMgtY9J_4&feature=fvsr FF to 2:00 min mark

Like many in this economy, there is no money (cap space went poof) - so unless he would sign for el-cheapo (while some players have to be moved as is), do not see things happening,

Hit the nail on the head. I like Asham myself and always been a fan. I just do not know how strong he is on face-offs (I am big on players who can win face-offs). I strongly feel the Wings have lacked this compared to other years (grit/face-off agility).

This is a good thing. With the whole Kronner hampering knee injury, wonder if Meech will be moved or Ritola.

Get him cut open and put on long term IR; at the same time try to sign Lilja.

Expectations are Wings will be #1 in division, with Chigaco being #2, and St. Louis #3. Interesting is the article does not mention the loss of Lilja while stating the addition of Salei replacing Lebda. Bit of a watered down article, but a different perspective if nothing else. http://network.yardbarker.com/NHL/article_external/An_in_Depth_Look_at_Central_Division/3082916

It will be interesting to see how Chicago and St. Louis do this season. One thing is for certain, more pressure will be put on Hossa, Kane, and Toews for offensive ability. If a team can make the playoffs just on work ethics, Nashville will be it.

As far as the Draper comments, Helm is slowly and surely replacing him. Speed, two-way play, face-off ability, and etc are all there. Drapes will be phased out like Malts (given Miller/Eaves replacing him). Asham signing? Good deal for the Pens. Question is, is Asham any good at taking face-offs?

The injury definitely changed the way he played the game after he came back. Post-injury Lilja was not as physical (hitting/fighting - which I can understand due to the nature of the injury). That alone dropped his net worth.
-
Too bad there was not enough cap space if he bit the bullet and signed for league minimum and the Wings were able to shed Meech + Ritola. Having Lilja and Salei

How big of a Wings fan is your Wife/Girlfriend/Significant Other?
