Nope... They have enough trouble determining a goal, offside, and a penalty. I can see this leading to even more severe injuries as players may not hesitate or not trying to guess or think what the linesman/red is thinking. Too dangerous.

Myself, I am curious on how the goal tending situation will be played out. Will they rotate, will Osgood play lights out? If we have a healthy year, what will the end result be?

And this is the same dood who threatened to go back to Europe if he played another year in the AHL. If anything, Detroit did Ville a favor by trading him to a team where he could get more ice time, develop more, and get use to the North American type hockey. And on an up swing, he has a shot at the Stanley Cup; what more can he ask for?
