I was thinking "here we go again" as I was shaking my head... Two totally different situations of course; Johan blocking a shot while Flip was cross checked. Retaliation was not taken due to the game being close and the current log jam/flip flop of standings. Hell, they basically blew a 4 goal lead the other night, what kept them from losing control of last night if they took a penalty. What bothers me is last week Z was crossed checked like crazy and no penalty was called. Flip was hit/cross checked from behind and nothing was called... Something needs to change.

Shocked you did not make a thread about Bert making blind half ass passes for a give n go, yet the opposing team takes the puck, and it leads to a scoring chance. Yet you post in the thread? Why not just ignore it. I am hoping May will be back up here for some games during the playoffs; I think it will be based on who we play. Bert and Big E need to become a little more physical. And as other members have mentioned since Lilja returned, the Wings have played a lot better.

I missed the game the other night against the Wild yet seen the replays and I was trying to figure out "was that Homer and Johan" on the same line? Babs may be putting big bodies out there to screen the goalie, but we need to spread the talent out a little more. Indeed, a odd/unique combo none the less.

PP needs to become more effective too. When the PK and the PP were clicking, the amount of time we had the puck increased and related to more chances.

Also have to remember that they have played 2 more games than us... Yes, a loss by the Preds would of been nice.

Jimmy is playing well and hope he gets even stronger, yet I can not agree with that statement as he has not played more than 1 full season and never in the playoffs. Osgood has stood tall in the last 2 rounds of the playoffs and regular season's had its ups and down. No one can argue to Hasek's accomplishments either. Did BabCOCK mean consistent?
