So player A you thinks a goon so he gets the suspension but, player B who you thinks an allstar does the same thing but, it becomes ok to break the rule and then not follow the league process of an Automatic suspension. Makes alot of sense to me I guess... If you are going to make something an Automatic suspension follow it every time or switch the rulebook to say suspension at leagues discretion. simple enough I agree it's unbeliveable how much depth this team has. They manage to win without one of the biggest stars in the league. I love it.

He broke a rule that he knew was a rule that carries an automatic suspension. Automatic means no discretion will be used. What is the point of the rule if it won't be followed? So you can break the rules if you're a star in the NHL finals? Automatic all of a sudden means it's not automatic for you?

I don't understand how the NHL picks and chooses which rules that are written in a rule book are enforced. I don't really think it's going to matter but, I just want to know how they get to pick and choose when to use the rule book and when not too.

It was just a chart breaking down how much money you have to give the refs in a briefcase before the game to get calls. I guess you can get anyone you want ejected for a bargain price of 7500 dollars + the 15% Bettman fee.

Why doesn't NHL just call some minor league refs up they can't do any worse of a job. I swear these guys get tons of money and screw up the calls nonstop. Atleast the minor league refs would want to stay up in the NHL after this season and would have incentive to get the calls right unlike these spoiled refs who know no matter how bad they screw up the NHL won't do crap.

What a bulls*** call. I don't know how you eject someone from a game for that without an intent to injure penalty. It was a ******* horrible call but, you would expect the refs to call intent to injure if someones going to be ejected. I don't understand the 5 minute interference penalty when the pucks right next to his skate/stick. Maybe I'm missing something in the new NHL. Ever since the lockout the games went to s***. I guess they want the NHL to become figure skating.

I would die laughing if the Wings had a 4-0 or 5-0 lead with like 4 minutes left in the game and they started chanting Detroit sucks. Chances are it'll happen during this series.
