Nice Work! Just a question though...How do copyright something when the music and and all the footage is borrowed/stolen? I'm just not sure how copyrighting works.

I'm not sure where you're going with this. How different do you think it is? In terms of day to day lifestyles there is not much of a difference. Obviously it depends on your location but the difference is still marginal. You're not one of those people who think all Canadians live in igloos are you?

Well how exactly would people buying tickets know how the games are going to end? Like other people said its has to do with the teams they played. (Minnesota and Carolina) Not exactly known to draw big crowds. Hindsight is great and all.... edit: spelling

LOL Good call. I used to watch it all the time. Should have remembered. Kinda got old but none the less entertaining. Showcase can get crazy at times.

What is sooo horrible about him that you use a word like hate? He whined a couple times? Give me a break. The media blows everything he does out of proportion including that. Every player complains ("whines"). He did it a few times in a year and he's labeled a whiner. It's pathetic. Don't hate the player, hate the media for hyping him up so much.

I'd like to know what program other than Sopranos "drops the F bomb like no tomorrow" on Canadian tv. Unless you're talking about late night shows like Ed the Sock and Baby Blue 2 lol. Other than that you're full of bologni. And late night doesn't count anyways.

I agree they should go after someone better. Especially an older more proven player. It would probably cost them less and wouldn't affect our financial situation after this year as much. Edmonton would want a good young player in return (Filps, Huds) and in the end would just not make our team any better. Personally I think the only things we should be using as trade bait are one of our defensive prospects and a 2nd rounder. No more. We need our current roster players for depth and Lilja or Sammy won't get us squat as some people here think.

I can't see much of a downside of looking into Stoll. He put up 68 points as a 23 yr old in his first full NHL season. Is a pretty solid two-way player. Can play the point on the powerplay if need be. Great shot. 2.2 mil is hardly overpaying considering this is the final year of the contract and hes a RFA after this season. Not to mention the cap space we have and the good chance we will not use it. It all comes down to cost and what they would want in return.

WOW you have ALOT of time on your hands
-
Absolutely. You never know who is going to be injured (knock on wood). We could use one more veteran on D and a top 6 forward. Can anyone imagine if Hank or Dats went down? Or Lidstrom?? So much of our offense relies on the euro twins its scary. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

I agree. If I were a player, this would make me second guess signing with the Ducks in the future. Or at least wherever Brian Burke is general manager. I think he's smarter than this but his options are limited.

Search the forums. There were a couple long debates about it.

Canada Announces 2008 World Junior Selection Camp Roster
Son of a Wing replied to up2here's topic in General
I wouldn't judge to much by the super series. It's tough for a skilled player to stand out when playing on the 4th line all tournament. He did his defensive job well and that's what he was counted on. Looking forward to seeing them all play. -
You can at least be honest about being the guy. No one goes through the trouble to prop up the author of the video numerous times on these boards. And yes you've done this before. You've been called on it before and will deny it again anyways so don't bother.

Bettman: No NHLers at 2014 Olympics possible

Well according to the poll on TSN it is a vast minority. -

TSN Link Saw this on TSN and didn't see it posted. Personally I think it would be a huge mistake. Makes me wonder whether part of the reason is because it is in Russia. Still bitter from them not signing the Transfer agreement? ''It is a strain on the players, on the schedule and on our fans here,'' Ummm...Gary, last time I checked many players live and die to play for their country, especially at the olympic level. A strain on the fans? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Hockey fans can never get enough. What do you guys think? Of course someone makes the same thread 2min later... lol -
Right on, let's keep it positive.

Yeah I thought so too. It's from Kuklas Korner One of the best sites around for NHL news. Not to mention his Abel to Yzerman blog dedicated to Red Wings.

On the play, which occurred with 5:38 remaining in the second period, Flyers forward Scott Hartnell collided with Alberts, who was sliding on his knees near the boards at center ice. Hartnell’s elbow and shoulder hit Alberts flush in the side of the head, causing it to collide with the dasher violently. Alberts lay on the ice for several minutes, and was eventually lifted to his feet and escorted to the locker room for evaluation.

Ducks could trade Schneids if Neidermeyer returns
Son of a Wing replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
You really think Toronto needs a fourth offensive defenseman over 4 mill? -
You're entitled to your opinion but but I gotta agree with Burnsey. Pat Burns on Lecavalier
-
Why are we comparing points for 4th line players who play 5min a night. That is not their role.
-
Thats your opinion and thats fine. I believe given more time they will begin to gel and play much better. Hudler has dominated at every level he's played. Cleary finally had a break out year last year and Sammy has done pretty decent so far. Not too mention we have Filpulla too. We'll be just fine. We have to give Hudler and Filpulla lots of minutes to let them develop. We all know we need a top 6 guy I'd just rather give the young guys the minutes for now. They will get better. Have a little faith.
