Since his NHL salary was $875,000 last year, I believe the qualifying offer had to be $919,000, but Leino did not sign the 1 year, $919,000 qualifying offer. He negotiated a different contract.

A 21 man roster is legal. The Wings will have to move Lilja if he's healthy or put him on LTIR. That would free up $1.2 million and $2.8 million would be available for 1 or 2 players.

The same guy who posted this on Chad LaRose's Wikipedia page has also altered Martin Havlat's page to say Havlat plays for the Thrashers.

11 years, 370 million SEK ($44 million) http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/hock...ticle4882414.ab
-
But it's 2/3 the remaining VALUE of the contract spread out over double the number of years, not 2/3 of the remaining cap hit.

The rumor is that he may run for Gillibrand's vacated house seat, not for the Senate.

From the NHL Standard Player Contract: It seems clear that the NHL has no right to require a player to play in the All-Star Game. Participation in the All Star Game is clearly left to the discretion of the Club and not the NHL.
-
Indeed. Windsor Star was wrong. However, there is nothing in the CBA that says a player has any obligation to participate in the All-Star Game. Anything that places an additional obligation on the player would need to be collectively bargained. Was the CBA properly amended for this additional rule? If not, then the PA would have a case against the NHL.
-
It is in the CBA, but Brodeur was not suspended last season.
-
Incorrect. It's only players who are signed to a multi-year contract when they are over 35 that cannot be removed from the cap under any circumstances.

Three restaurants. There's one in Clinton Township as well.

http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/news/S...20News/1772069/ Ericsson's contract is one-way. 3 years, $2.7 million. Howard's contract is two-way for the first season, one way for the next two. 3 years, $2.151 million. His NHL salary this season will be $600,000 and his AHL salary will be $200,000.

On the other hand, I'm praying for Philly/Detroit at the Wachovia Center. -
Zetterberg wore #20 before the arrival of Robert Lang.

Each year can not be less than half of the previous year.

Mine showed up today, but for some reason it was marked as signature required for delivery, so I had it redirected to work. Hopefully I'll have it tomorrow.

Hey! Eat your words. Michael is not going to that HELLHOLE in Ann Arbor. He's going to the greatest university on the face of this earth - Michigan State University!
-
He is eligible. I wonder if he'll physically be able to skate and lift the cup yet. It's been two months.

O'Hallaran - Default call is 'interference'?
PRStoetzer replied to SouthernWingsFan's topic in General
NCAA hockey allows video replay for goaltender interference. It seems to work fine.
