This is a good move for the playoff run. We need somebody who can play physical. Now trade Kopecky, ect for a D-man or Fedorov....Try to get Hossa.

I'm glad we started to stand up for ourselves. That's the biggest thing. Downey + Mac + Drake should be good for the second season. I'm not worried about our toughness now. We need Hossa now.

The Wings need to sell tickets. If they can't sell out for playoff games, they are in trouble. Fedorov makes more sense because of his ability to still play and help the team. Mac is still a fan favorite and they want to get him in the fold. This may all become about ticket sales...cheeks in the seats.

In a 7 game series, The Wings can't beat the Ducks. They are too physical, and once they start banging on Datsyuk and Zetterberg, Hasek, ect...it's over with.

Osgood is having a meltdown. Without the stellar D in front of him, he can't steal games like a Hasek Roy, Brodeuer, ect.

Blake's a has-been gimp. I would not give up very much at all for a rental player, much less a gimp that hardly played this year. forget it. -
Time to trade Draper for Tucker. Use Hudler in Drapers place. Get rid of him while there is value still. Tucker would be a better forward in the playoffs anyway. Hudler's ready, and he has better hands. Forget his no trade clause, he'll waive it to go to TO, Draper's hometown.

I was watching sportscenter last night and the had "The Tale of The Tape" fighting segment! I didn't realize that they were doing that! pretty cool......Kind of ESPN's way of telling gary to f**k off. Good s***.
