I don't like draper and we wayyy overpaid for a defensive forward. This will bite Kenny in the nuts down the road. Maybe we'll sign maltby to six year, 8 million contract next.... -
In theory that's a great idea, but like we were saying, the talent drops off after 1st-2nd line. What we really need is another top-20 scorer, and a big grinder who can score a little for the 3rd line. I think we'd be ok then. Outside of that I think the ZDH line is here to stay.

When is EVERBODY going to be healthy? Dunno about that. And no, we are not deeper than last season. I would argue that we are not deep at all, and if any more people get hurt along with lingering injuries, we are gonna be in trouble because the talent significantly drops off after the 2nd line.

Nope. Illitch might tweak it a little, but no price drop. You are correct about ESPN, Hockey interest and Gary Buttf**kman generally destroying the league. I have no interest in hashing it over what we all have been bitching about. My money will not go to tickets for the Wings or any other team unless they are give-aways or free this year. The NGBHL is dying.

Wow what a trash heap. I think it's time...what say you? I don't think I'm going to spend money going there anymore, especially with HD TV. Methinks it's one of the reasons why they are selling $9 tickets too.

Unless somebody steps up, They need to pick up another scorer / big body to balance the team out. That's why I thought Bertuzzi would have worked out. I don't see anybody ready to compliment Dats or Z yet.

It's just easier to crack a cold one on my couch, fire up the HD and watch it at home. WAAAYYY cheaper too, and to hell with the traffic. Does HD change the economic dynamic for pro teams? I sure think so. College football won't change much because of the campus experience, but pro teams just might experience some loss.

Resign Mathieu Schneider to around the same contract he has around 3.5 mil* Are you nuts? Schneider and Lang need to be given the boot. Sign Bert, Sign Souray, bring up Quincey. Play Hudler more. And trade Draper.
