I say no, we could of used the money for something better. Now $1-1.5 million per year would of been much more reasonable...
-
Nabakov is such the beast now??? He and Kipper are coppying what giggy did the last year the nhl played... I know its only a week but???
-
I know EVERYBODY hates the Avs but come on... Evgeni Nabokov that much better??? A casual hockey fan might suggest that the San Jose lineup for 2005-06 is pretty much the same as it was at the end of the 2003-04 campaign. Nothing could be further from the truth. The loss of free agent defensive center Mike Ricci and stay-at-home rearguard Mike Rathje will be felt by the whole team, but particularly by goaltender Evgeni Nabokov. Without Ricci shadowing the opposing team's top center and Rathje clearing the area around his net, Nabokov will find the going much tougher this season, which could lead to a drop in his production... The Avs lost Foresberg and Foote, but also signed some players...You never really count on Peter for the whole season...

NOT gonna happen...The wings will trade nobody right now especially core players, maybe picks... But NOBODY in our farm system at this time...Again barring a major deal...
-
The latest rumor is: Jeff Friesen Re-signed RFA (New Jersey) $2.28 million Viktor Kozlov Re-signed RFA (New Jersey) $1.746 million Sergei Brylin $1.52 million Which comes to a total of $5.546 million and the Devils are about $5.5 million over the cap...so that means they can't trade for players unless they are in the minors...So that could mean draft picks...which we could afford...IMO...
