I once had to make the choice between a playoff game at the Joe, and a friend's bachelor party here in Texas. I chose the game. (Game 5 vs Nashville in '08.) Thankfully, I wasn't in the wedding party, and the groom completely understood). Good to see that preseason tickets are starting to go on sale soon. Hopefully the regular season tickets for the games here in Dallas go up soon too. I'm itching to buy my tickets for both those games (ESPECIALLY now with Modano on the team).

Anyone else we look at signing means another player who is already on the roster has to be moved. We're looking at most likely trading Meech and either Miller or Ritola for picks/prospects only, for the same reason. If we pick up a roster player, we haven't really accomplished anything. Anything's possible, of course, but I would be very surprised if any further signings/deals are made (other than moving the aforementioned players).
