Mickey usually stays at home on long road trips. Prior to getting fired, Larry Murphy usually handled the color commentary duties on long trips. Though, after the firing, Redmond was on the road for all games last year. Absolutely. That was more a "he's going to be due a raise due to his good play" comment, than something accusing him of only playing well because of the contract year. My guess is that the equipment staff didn't bring any extra "A's" for the jerseys on the road trip. With Kronwall being out for a week or so, we might see a 2nd "A" when the Wings play at home again... PK upcoming. Kindl for slashing.
