Actually, yes, though they are rare. He had a huge "save" against Dallas yesterday. Other than that, being on the bench is considered a "good play" for him...

That was Hawerchuk's last game in the NHL too. He missed game 4 of the finals, and retired after the series. That hit came in the 2nd period, and if I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong, too), I don't think Hawerchuk played another shift after that hit. Interesting to think that (possibly) the guy's last play in the NHL resulted in him getting absolutely ROCKED.

People have a right to be upset about the loss, and to be vocal about being upset. Being vocally upset, and stating why you're so upset isn't considered trolling, even if you don't agree with what that person is saying. That said folks, be as upset about the loss as you want, but be civil when you're discussing it. Thanks.

I edited the thread title based on the OP's edit. And, to be fair, you can't really think that we gave up Mike Green in the Lang trade, because there's no way to know who we would have drafted that year with that pick. Green could have very well been passed over by Detroit.
