I'm wondering if they're keeping him up for the time being as an extra forward, or to give someone (hopefully Leino) a chance to rest (or healthy scratch in Leino's case). It's possible that they just sent him down to play in the game vs. the Wolves, rather than just outright bench him when Flip came back against the Jackets. At least, I'm hoping for that over the alternative theory, that he's a callup to replace another injury.

You might have missed my post near the top of page one. I detest this idea. I loathe it. The English language lacks the proper words to describe my hatred for the idea of putting advertisements on the Wings jerseys. I'm simply pointing out that this isn't an idea that hasn't been mentioned, nor even seriously considered, before.

Why not? Because I don't think anyone really wants the Wings to look like this... Open the door to advertismenta on jerseys, and I guarantee you it's only a matter of time before it gets to be like that. This isn't NASCAR, the KHL, or some other junior league that has to turn their players into skating billboards just to scrape by.
