IMO, 1 was the best of the series, followed by 3 and then 2. That of course is not to say that 2 is a bad game, by any means. 2 was fantastic. As was 3. But the thing that made 1 the best game for me was the little details that were left out of 2 and 3. For instance, 1 barely had any traditional loading screens. They were very cleverly disguised by elevator rides with news updates, and things like that. 2 and 3 abandoned that whole idea entirely. Several other smaller details like that made 1 such an exceptional game, and the sequels just a little bit beneath the original. That said, you'll enjoy the twists and turns that the rest of the series throws at you (no spoilers here, I promise). Buckle your seat belt, it's a wild ride!

Murphy's job was as a color commentator and analyst. At least, on paper. But I think we all know his REAL "job" was to get fans excited about $1 hot dog night. And no one could do that better than good ole' Murph. Best of luck to Ozzie in his new venture. I think he'll be great at this, though perhaps not as entertainingly as Murph...

Journey, far and away is my favorite indie game. Everything about it is fantastic, the art direction, the soundtrack, the emotion. For a game with no spoken words, you find yourself caring an awful lot about the fate of your character. Amazing game. Highly recommended.

Just started up a Mass Effect Trilogy run. Starting from scratch with a brand new character, complete with a face code I found online (backwards-converted to ME1 using a converter I also found online). So, yeah, gonna be on ME for awhile now...

I was as vocal a critic of Brad McCrimmon as any here on the boards, but was so excited to see him get his own coaching opportunity in the KHL. How tragic that he lost his life so quickly into that opportunity. Such a sad day. The hockey world still is saddened by it.

A zoomed in version of the previous photo. Shows the "fake laces" details, as well as what might be Canada's version of the "shiny shoulder stars", which will probably be maple leafs or something... Oh yeah, and that's a gold border around the maple leaf.

That's about par for the course for Nike.

Kickstart My Heart - Mötley Crüe

If I were in charge, I would make a green and white jersey that's like a home version of the new road jerseys, then ditch both the current "Christmas" home jerseys and the third jerseys too. But, that's just my opinion.

First new jersery design unveiled this offseason that I actually don't mind. Now they need to update their home unis to match.

Even our own Danny DeKeyser wasn't spared the humiliation...

Loved Howard's last mask, so I'm still a bit partial to it. But this is a good looking mask too. I do like the concept of using something so iconic to Detroit on his mask. But I think it might have been better if it had the Spirit of Detroit on one side, then the monument to Joe Louis on the other.

Russia's "red" jerseys are the exact same cut/style jerseys as the USA's this year, down to the Nike fake laces. They even have their own set of stars on the shoulders, to symbolize the 8 Olympic Golds the Russian/Soviet teams won... Their "white" jerseys are certainly different. Not sure what I think about them... But still. Fake laces...
