Nice to see the hitting continue. The crowd loved the hits on Pronger and FairyPerry. Missed call on Homer, and McCreary was looking right at the play too...

And this series of all is no exception! I remember going through the rollercoaster last year, but never to the extent I've felt in this series.

One thing that I find interesting is that they will not be using a traditional Olympic sized arena for the games. From what I understand (and correct me if I'm wrong) The IOC and the city of Vancouver decided instead of constructing a brand new international-sized-ice arena that would be used for 3 weeks and then abandoned, that they would just use GM Place and it's NHL-sized-ice surface. Dunno if that will give any specific country an advantage, but the countries that have fewer NHL players on their rosters will have to make more adjustments than the teams loaded with NHL players like Russia, Sweden, Canada and the US.

Crazy finish to this game. All in all, we didn't look TOO bad for a team with 8 days between games. Definitely room for improvement, but that's good. We know we can get better. Now I'll just sit back and attempt to prevent the heart attack I nearly had from the end of that game!
