Ok guys. Let's keep the discussion on track. The Political section would be great for any continuing debate about the Automakers.

Think about this for a second, please. How much do we hate it when members of other boards come on LGW just to troll? I imagine the same thing applies for them on their boards. Plus, things like that tend to lead them to find Red Wings forums (like LGW for instance?) to start little flame wars of their own. Give them a break. They just watched their team fold up shop in the first round, when they had such high hopes for the season. Don't make it any worse for them. Remember our first round disappointments by the Ducks in '03, or the Oilers in '06? Not even the vaunted Red Wings are immune to it either... Oh, and BTW, trolling on another team's boards is an LGW no-no. It can lead to suspensions here... Food for thought.

Agreed. If for nothing else, then you're not even buying an officially licensed jersey. Plus, most of those jerseys that I've seen look so fake, that it's EASY to tell the difference between the two. I for one would be embarrassed to be caught walking around the Joe in one of those Chinese knock offs.

5 minutes, still plenty of time for SJ to make it a game.

I don't know if I'd say a nervous breakdown, but we'd sure make life more miserable for him than the Guppies have so far. We showed during the Columbus series that we've got the players that aren't afraid to take it hard to the net, and we scored quite a few goals against Mason that way. And SJ has shown a few times in this series that if they crash the net, it gives opportunities to put the puck in past Hiller. I'd be willing to bet that would be Babcock's strategy as well. If I were Babs, that would have been my message ever since knowing we'd be playing either Hiller or Luongo. Drive the net, make life miserable for the goalies.

That's a pretty big catch 22 though. If SJ somehow pulls out this series, they will be a team absolutely brimming with confidence. Label them chokers (and well deserved if they lose tonight) all you want, but a team that's as confident as SJ would be after winning a series like this could be DANGEROUS. I have a feeling they would make it past Chicago, and then be waiting for us in the WCF (provided we make it that far, of course).

Most likely Thursday. There's an event (not sure if I've heard yet what it is) at the Joe on Saturday, so game 2 will for sure be on Sunday.

Well, I really think this was the best thing. I'm not partial to either team winning or losing, because I don't pick my playoff poison. But the longer this series goes, the better. So, if Anaheim wins Monday the next series could still start on Thursday.
