Much better flow to this game so far. We're moving our feet, the passes are crisp... I know it's early, but I'm liking what I see much more tonight than in previous games.

Give credit where credit is due. McLellan has instilled a great work ethic there in SJ, and they have played a great game. The Sharks have played like Detroit was playing against their opponents last year. That said, it has to be painfully obvious to everyone involved that there are issues on this team now. Yes, we had the late game last night and the late arrival into SJ, but that can't be used as an excuse. They just aren't playing the way that we know (and hopefully THEY know) that they can. San Jose out played us. They beat us at their own game, and I've got to be honest, they looked damn good doing it too. On to Vancouver. Hopefully the 2 days off between games will get some life back in their game.

Conklin kept it tied for us there. We started great, but then we took our foot off the gas. Let up a bit and SJ ramped their game up. The effort better pick up, or else we're not looking at winning this game.
