Wow. This is more like what I would have expected all game long from Dallas. Game/Series still isn't over yet.

Looking at the replay, I'd bet that he thought he was all alone...

Bound to happen eventually... Only so many times can we go shorthanded and not get one in... And that was a LATE, LATE hit on Lids...

Anytime. Ugh... another freaking penalty...

Oh. My. God. Just when you thought the world was done with Mambo No. 5, Toyota goes and spoofs it for a Corolla commercial... I think my ears are bleeding...

Talked about the differences between this team and the 97 & 98 teams. He felt that D & Z are more talented than any forward they had in those 2 runs, and felt that this Defense is more offensive minded than those of the 97 & 98 runs. Talked about how up until yesterday he was a fan of the "puck-over-the-glass" delay of game penalty, but that it cost Canada big in the IIHF finals yesterday.

Nope. In an instance like that, it relies solely on the judgement of the ref on in the ice. A goal waived off on the ice like that is not reviewable. Much the same as the goal that went in off the mesh-screen against SJ in February. Everyone knew that the result was wrong, but since the ref/linesmen made (or in this instance, didn't make) the call, it's not reviewable. Which, by the way, is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong... There's no accountability in a situation like that.

This coming from the same user that said the NHL shouldn't even allow game 4 to be played because Dallas looked "finished"? That it was "anti-climactic"?

Well, for all the fuss about the disallowed goal (which was bs, don't get me wrong), we still didn't do enough to earn the win. We went O-for on the PP, when we had a chance to completely strangle them in the 2nd with the 3 straight calls. That, and Dallas controlled the style of play all game long, not Detroit. Yeah, it's easy to blame the refs, and yeah, that first goal could have changed the whole attitude of the game, but we really have no one to blame but ourselves for the loss. Too many posts. Too many missed opportunities on the PP's.

Dammit. Dallas played better, and in the long run deserved to win the game. Though it's a shame to think that we had control with the disallowed goal. That could have completely deflated Stars, and (for all intents and purposes) ended the series... Ah well. Back to the Joe we go!

Dammit... Well, now, even with the disallowed goal Dallas would have the lead... They've played more like a team that deserves to be in the conference finals tonight, for sure.

Man, the guys on TSN are calling it right, 100%. There are some times where calls SHOULD and MUST be reviewable...

Not going to flat out say that the Refs are responsible for the outcome of this game, but they're damn sure trying their hardest, aren't they?
