Hm. Interesting way of getting rid of the Autobots.... Er... Spambots... Go Decepticons

I think there's little real chance of that happening. I like Shanny, but bringing him back would be one more person taking away a roster spot from a guy like Hudler, Kopecky, or other talented youth on the team. Plus, Shanny's already gone on record stating that if he comes back, it will most likely be with NY.

If you listen very carefully, you can hear the entire Vancouver Canucks fanbase booing...

Eric Clapton remade Stevie's "I Ain't Gonna Stand For It" on his album "Reptile". He did a pretty good job of it too. Kashmir - Led Zeppelin

LMAO. Ah, that was so funny.

Shanny's gone on record stating that if he does come back for season #20, it'd be with the Rangers. You can't get more black and white than "there's nowhere else I'd rather play." Would I like Shanny back. My heart says yes, as he was (and always will be) one of my favorite players. But he'd be taking up another roster spot that should go to someone like Rex, 'Petsky, Calder (if he stays), or Flapjack. I'm glad that Shanny's found a place he's so happy in. He truly deserves it. He'll be a shoe in for the hall of fame, and he'll enter it as a Red Wing primarily.

Not much news on that front, from what I've seen. I'm sure you've probably already read this, but there's talk about the potential area for a new arena at DetNews.com. It's a month-and-a-half old story, mostly talking about the property that the Ilitchs bought.

The Lang goal against SJ to force OT. Without a doubt. Not to take anything away from Anaheim, but the game that they sent to OT like that they didn't deserve. Detroit worked hard that whole game after falling behind early. They never quit, they never backed off, and they earned that OT period. The Schneider goal to seal the game was just the icing on the cake,

Close finish. Really wish we could have had that kind of jump in the first. Overall though, I've got to say that I'm DAMN proud of this Detroit team This is a team that was supposed to struggle to even make the playoffs. They were supposed to be out hit and out worked by Calgary. We were supposed to be thrown all over the ice & way outscored by the Sharks. And we weren't even supposed to be able to compete with the Ducks. This is a team that has consistently proven their critics wrong. So we didn't win the Cup this year. You can't win every year. And I for one am damn proud of the fact that we made it this far, in spite of everyone in the hockey world saying we couldn't. Here's to the 2006-2007 Detroit Red Wings! Great job guys! Head home with your heads held high!!!

WOW. GREAT chances there. Keep it up boys. Grab the equalizer...

ANOTHER PP. Come on boys. NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT!!!!
-
HUGE goal there.

Great jump here. Oh how I wish we had that in the first... Keep it up boys. If nothing else, we can walk out of here with our heads held high.
-
Markov's showing some skills out there...

You've just now noticed how "classy" the Ducks fans are?

That's 2.

And it's right back out of reach again...

Looking much better to start the 3rd.

Wouldn't help us at all.

Gotta hold 'em off here.

Detroit's just plain getting outworked. If we were skating more for the pucks around the boards, and creating more chances like the Quincy shot a few minutes ago, it might be different. But we can't play in IF's... Detroit just needs to get more hustle, if they're not just completely out of gas.

Hasek was back in his snow-angel-of-defeat form... Too many breakdowns lead to that goal...
