I had that exact thought as I watched them escort McClennan off the ice. The way he got pats from Kipper, and nods from teammates. That looked to me like it was orchestrated... Not saying that it was necessarily, but that's what it looked like to me...

I would. Seriously, that's what makes us a better organization, regardless of the outcome of the series. Goonery like what Calgary did today, or like you're suggesting there, has no place in hockey.

Fantastic effort by Detroit. Glad to see that they answered all the questions hanging over their heads from games 3 & 4. As far as the Flames go, they've just shown today that these guys aren't hockey players. They're a bunch of asshats who play hockey. Game 6 will be huge. If Detroit can keep this kind of play up throughout game 6, it's over for the Flames. If we can keep up the dominance on special teams, we'll be coming back to Detroit ready for the next series. If not... We're coming back for a game 7. GO WINGS!!!

Not to take anything away from the Flames, because they certainly played much better than they had in Detroit. But when you go 0-for in 2 games on the PP, and you give up 4 PP goals...
