Stevie's gonna be on CBC!!
-
Shattered glass to end the period.
-
And that was a blatant offsides...
-
And the phantom offside calls return...
-
Ah, the Kids drawings.
-
Ok... is it that difficult of a concept to grasp? Crash the net = good chances. Bad angle shots = poor chances. C'mon Sammy. This is first day stuff.
-
Yeah, it was in before Hasek got hit. Damn it all. Get it back boys...
-
Doh. PK.
-
Post... I'm liking our hustle now. Keep it up boys!!
-
Nice chance on the Draper breakaway. Just wish he could have buried it.
-
Nice play by 'Tuzzi.
-
Good quick reflexes Dom.

Can't expect many rebounds from shots that far out guys. Crash the net!!
-
Whew. I think we kinda lucked out on that one. Need to relax, learn how to bring the puck in onsides, and get more shots on Kip.
-
And another offsides call...
-
Alright guys. Gotta start taking advantage of every opportunity... Let's go guys.
-
Huge chance here guys. Let's take advantage!!!
-
That's to be expected. Down 0-2 in the series, back home where they were terrific all year. They've got nothing to lose now, and will play like it.

Huge, huge, HUGE game tonight. I would so much rather be up 3-0 after this game, than 2-1, with the Flames possibly getting momentum back for game 4 on home ice. This series especially has shown just how important each and every game is to win.

Well, the Wings play Calgary at least twice more. But even that's getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Let's take this series one game at a time. Lest we forget the lessons against the Kings in '01, or (on the flip-side) against the Nucks in '02. A 2-0 series lead is great. But a 3-0 series lead is even better. Let's worry about that first.

TSN's Bob McKenzie is calling for the Flames to part ways with Playfair before game 3. Honestly, with the way that they've played over the last 2 games, I actually could see this happening.

Are you kidding? Talk about the best seat in the house!!! Although I agree with you in some cases on their production quality, I have to say that beggars can't be choosers. (I'm in the same boat as you, as I only get to watch the games on NBC too. It's NHL.Com Radio for me on every other game). Poorly produced hockey coverage is better than no coverage at all...

Great win tonight!! SOOO glad we're up 2-0 going to Calgary than tied at 1!

If he's healthy, we have to put Bertuzzi in the game. We've seen the quotes from the Flames, saying that they didn't play the kind of game they know they can, and everyone here has noted that the Wings were the more physical team in game one. We can't expect the Flames to sit back and watch everything go the Wings way for 3 more games. They're going to start hitting, and they're going to try to play more like the Flames of '04, and we need someone like Bertuzzi in the lineup, who isn't afraid to throw his weight around as well. We traded away a prospect and pick(s) for the guy, bringing him in so we could have some much needed grit for the playoffs. Benching him now, in the playoffs, when we know that we'll need the grit, wouldn't be the wisest idea. And guys, stop saying the thread (or the thread poster) is stupid. It's a legitimate question. *edit* spelling
