Exactly my point. Still alot of hockey left, including 5 more games against each other. Neither side should be claiming ownership of the Central division at this point in time.

Who will be signing that title over to us now? Manny? Babcock? Stevie? You realize that we're tied in the points standings, and at this point in time, the tie breaker goes to us for having more wins, right?

You're correct. Radar was the only character who was played by the same actor in both the movie and the series. Gary Burghoff was the actor (as you're no doubt looking it up now...) *edit* Er... Only one to keep a recurring role... G Wood played a General in the first few episodes, and Timothy Brown had many apperances as Spearchucker Jones...

I'm just most upset about our lack of scoring in the 2 games. Not to knock Vokoun, he really did steal the 2 games for Nashville. But when Detroit outshoots ANYONE 79 to 42 in a two game series, we should have more to show for it than 3 goals (2 of them by a defenseman).

Against such fearsome opponents as Columbus (twice), St Louis (also twice), the Ducks, and a Calgary team that barely even knew what hockey WAS (4 wins in 13 games in Oct). It's impressive how well Manny played in October, yes. I'm not taking away from that. But the schedulers did have a helping hand in that record, no doubt...

Tell that to the 16 skaters who didn't put the puck in the net for Detroit over the 2 games. Why should they be excused from blame?

Official 3 stars from NHL.com. 1 - Tomas Vokoun - 38 saves, again, arguably the only reason they won tonight. 2 - Chris Chelios - 22:55 ice time, 2 hits, 1 SOG. 3 - Steve Sullivan - 19:33 ice time, 5 SOG, 2 hits.
