George Malik put it in a rather "matter-of-fact"ly manner earlier... At this moment, would you rather have Mursak's potential, Tatar's hands, or Andersson's size? Seems that one of those 3 has to be odd man out, so it's a move that doesn't eliminate something the team needs right now.

Doesn't look like he's being waved to make room for Franzen. Franzen says he's ruling himself out for the weekend games. Aiming for a return on Wednesday, per Ansar KHAAAAAAN!!!

Love the idea of both teams wearing their colors, rather than the Leafs in white. Though, I'm not so much a fan of the white stripes on the chest (above the logo). Anywho. Red vs. Blue. As it should be.

Just try and imagine them in that... erm... glorious gold, rather than blue... If Hockeytown0001 wants to PM me the official GDT images (before 6pm Central. There's a good story about Monster's only start on the conditioning stint in GR from a Yahoo contributor... http://sports.yahoo.com/news/good-bad-jonas-gustavsson-rehab-stint-grand-rapids-201400439--nhl.html That was obviously before the call up from Detroit, so the author thinks that Gustavsson will still get a few more GR starts.

It's better for Mrazek to be in GR, where he will get the majority of starts. While he did get 2 starts up here, developmentally it's better for him to get more Grand Rapids starts than to keep track of faceoffs from Detroit's bench.

Ah, correct me if I'm wrong, but Nill only has 4 Cup Rings, '97, '98, '02, and '08. In any case, LeBrun is absolutely right. Nill would be at or near the top of several teams' lists if he were to become available. I've heard/read that he's very happy where he is, and has no intention of moving at the time. -
