KHAAAAAAN!!! I suppose it's good news that there's no bone damage. Means the problem is a muscular issue, and not bone/skeletal. Another case of "It might be bad, but it could have been much worse", perhaps...

For those who posted in my previous "Pre-GDT" thread, I'm sorry, but your posts were deleted, and it's completely my fault. I'd imagine that Babs will keep Flip on the Wing. He's responded well to playing there. Saw a tweet yesterday from practice that Howard had a net to himself, while Mrazek and McCollum were sharing a net. Seemed to indicate that Howard was getting the next start.

This x100. I always respected Bill McCreary above all others. You may not have liked the fact that he nailed one of our players for a penalty, but there was never a doubt in my mind that it was the right call.

I saw a story somewhere around the interwebs that had something like "the 55 most anticipated games of 2013". Out of that whole list, I'm mildly interested in one game (GTA V), and more-than-mildly interested in only one other (The Last of Us). And that was it... Long story short, I'm not thinking that 2013 will be a year filled with new games for me. Might be re-playing a lot of my games, or maybe picking up some 2012 games that are on markdown/clearance. I don't care who you are, I will always feel bad when a player gets hurt like that. Never, ever want to see a player lying motionless on the ice like that. Guy may be a jerk on (and even off) the ice. But that's somebody's son, somebody's husband, somebody's father...

Goodness, I hope he's ok. Never want to see a player get injured, much less as badly as this looks.

Absolutely the right call to make. I'll take the two points, but I definitely feel that the bad penalty call cost the Blues their chance in that game. Over the course of a full season, though, I have no doubt the Blues will be on the better end of questionable calls. Glad the NHL realized their mistake, and made sure that Backes doesn't get an undeserved black mark on his record.

KHAAAAAAN!!! reported that tests on Husky came back negative. He is expected to play tonight. Glad he wasn't hurt!

I think KHAAAAAAN!!! tweeted that Howard said he's good to go tomorrow too, despite the injury scare he has tonight.

I'd bet Husky is out for this one. Most of the tweets I've seen make it seem that Lashoff might start, after Husky got rocked in the St. Louis game.
