Guys. I don't know how much clearer I could be with this. Politics and political based discussion IS NOT ALLOWED on LGW. Not in the General Discussion, not in the Water Cooler, not anywhere. If you notice a recent post of yours has been deleted, this is the reason why. Any further political discussion will result in disciplinary action. Don't be the member who gets handed a suspension because of a post in the Water Cooler... My unpopular opinion. I hate having to post messages like this.

IMO, this will make the Sabres a worse team this year than before the trade... ...which is exactly what they want. They want to win the race to the bottom to better their chances at McDavid.

I think now would be a good time for everyone to take a step back and try to calm down. This thread was something meant to be fun. But it's starting to become another avenue for people to attack each other, and that won't be allowed to stand. Please keep to the topic at hand, which is to share your unpopular opinion (remember, non-political/religious, as per Forum Rules). While further discussion of those opinions is of course allowed (and encouraged), it must be civil or it will be deleted and the offending members subject to possible disciplinary action. If you really have to get into a bare knuckle no holds barred debate, take it to another discussion board, or at the very least to the PMs. My newest unpopular opinion - I love the way gasoline smells. I don't huff it or anything, but that first whiff of gasoline smell...

Same here. For the longest time, I never thought I would gather enough friends to ever play any of the raids, since matchmaking isn't an option. Finally made a couple of friends by playing multiple strikes in the Vanguard Tiger & Roc playlist, and one of them invited me in. The funny thing, is that I'm level 30, with multiple exotic weapons, and an exotic helmet, so everyone already assumed that I had already rolled the Vault before. Everyone thought it was quite the accomplishment that I had reached level 30 just by playing the strike playlists, and hitting up public events each day. Eventually, I just got enough legendary weapons and armor pieces to deconstruct to get the Ascendant materials needed to hit level 30.

Accepted an invitation to play the Vault of Glass raid in Destiny for the first time today. Joined the group, only to find out that they're already on the final boss of the raid. So, I pretty much just Jiri Slegr'd the Vault today...

This may be an unpopular fact, but it's one that bears repeating. Remember that politics are a no-go here on LGW. Even if you know your political opinion is unpopular, it's still best to leave them to other places on the internet. Back to unpopular opinions... I prefer cold weather to warm/hot.

If you ask me, the better solution than a paltry fine is to change the way the penalty is called. Player A hooks Player B. Player B embellishes. As it stands now, both player A and Player B receive penalties, for hooking and embellishment respectively. I say it should be changed to where the embellishment negates Player A's penalty, and the embellishing player's team now goes on the PK. Then again, SJ would spend the entire 60 minute game shorthanded, so that idea probably wouldn't work...

If there are any higher level Destiny players still playing, Xur is selling the Ice Breaker exotic sniper rifle today and tomorrow only. Quite possibly the single best PvE weapon in the game, if you have the 17 Strange Coins needed to buy it. I just so happen to have 18 Strange Coins, so uh yeah, I'm buying it tonight, no doubt.
