Looks like a few minor changes. The Bauer logo colors aren't "reversed" in the middle. Also, the jaw line has been updated to make the retired numbers larger and more prominent. Also looks like the colors on the gothic "D" on the chin are reversed. Old mask, for comparison...

There's no word in the English language that could possibly convey how tragic this is. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of everyone on board that plane. The Red Wings, the NHL, and the entire world lost some of the best and brightest today.

Well... That was unexpected. Low salary because he'll still be receiving salary from the Jackets, since they bought him out with 2 years left on his old contract. He's big, and can be aggressive, and has the coveted right handed shot, so if he's effective, then it's a good signing. Now, someone needs to make sure he wears #64 this year. That would be epic.

With Wiz's rights being traded to Columbus, I think it's a foregone conclusion that he won't reach a deal with Montreal before July 1st. -

Defense is the most glaring need this team has at the moment, so I highly doubt Kenny would be willing to forsake that need on the off chance of signing Stamkos. Big E was making $1.25 this most recent season (cap hit of $900k, as it was a staggered salary). So he's now expected to sign for less than last year? All the news reports are saying that E's new deal will be around/above $2 mil per year. -
NP? They're the Nashville "No Problems" now? I'd have to see what they plan on doing with the jerseys before I make final judgement. But so far, it looks like they didn't do any worse than what they had already...

"Resign" or "re-sign"? Pretty key difference there. As far as Jagr. No thanks, says I. While he is usually solid holding onto the puck ( ), he never was as strong a two-way player as our system needs. If he's literally the only option we have, I suppose I would take him. But I wouldn't be too happy about it.
