Wow, that is some unexpected news. Certainly gives Holland a lot of money to play with, to match the large roster hole that will be left. At the very least, it makes sure that we're in for a busier free agent season than we originally expected. -

I hope my coworkers don't think it's strange that I'm going to be laughing for at least the next 20 to 30 minutes. However, I will agree that diving is running rampant in the NHL, and needs to be called much more often than it is.

Combination gritty and pretty win. Lots of things to take as positives from this game. Good to see the Wings continue to compete even after Heatley tied the game. Would have been easy for doubt to start creeping in. Leave it to the fearless Darren Helm to give hope to the Hockeytown faithful.
