When Miller had a goal and a fight against Columbus, Ken and Mickey said that Howe only had two GH Hat Tricks in his career. But I've heard from different sources anywhere from zero to three. Just seems like records weren't kept meticulously like they are now, and the refs & official scorekeepers definitions of "fight" may have been vastly different too.

If this kind of deal/benefit actually exists, I cannot imagine that the Wings would be the only team in the league to have it. I'd imagine it's an all-or-nothing kind of rule, where it's either league policy for all teams to set travel dates like that, or none have that restriction. But I've been wrong before, so who knows...

I actually feel bad for him. He's played very well for us up to this point, and the defense in front of him just completely s*** the ice tonight. They're not even bothering to "go through the motions". Sadly, a night like tonight was a long time coming. I'm just surprised that it's a team as low in the standings as the Blues doing it, and not a team that's chasing us in the standings. Oh, and J-Mac's back for the third!

As long as everyone follows the Forum Rules, there's no problem with bitching at the team. It's certainly called for, and well earned, on a night like tonight. The main thing is not to turn bitching at the Wings to bitching at other posters.
