I don't really think he should get anything. As Lovin Jiri Fischer's picture has shown, his armpit was actually what he hit with, rather than his elbow. According to the NHL Wheel of Justice, however, Bertuzzi's either gone for the season, or gone for the rest of his career, so take your pick*... *not you, draperfan.

Are you actually saying you're in favor of playing almost an entire game missing a guy, forcing another player to double shift (or forcing other players to sit, thus increasing everyone else's ice time)? Of course it's a bad thing. You're going to have to overwork guys to fill up the gap in ice time, not to mention the fact that Bertuzzi's scored a point roughly every other game for the Wings. Would and extra point have mattered tonight? It might have been the difference between 2 points and 1...

Makes you wonder if this poster is in every Official's locker room in the league...

Not too surprising that Babs scaled back some guys' ice time. Remember that Bertuzzi was sent off fairly early in the game, so we didn't have a full compliment of forwards to use. Rolling 4 lines like that means someone's getting double shifted.
