It's great to see Modano get rewarded with a goal. He's been picking his spots well lately, and has come very close on a handful of occasions. Great to see him finally bury one of those chances.

Sorry, but I still just can't help the comparison... At least Glass Joe was able to take more than one punch... In all seriousness, I hope that he can actually put together a good string of seasons together, and actually REALLY get his NHL career going. I hope it happens, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about it. -

Took a hit on the boards from Nash (perfectly clean & legal). In Datsyukian fashion, Nash wasn't able to get all of Datsyuk on the hit. Ken & Mickey said that after the hit when Datsyuk made it back to the bench, he went down the hall with the trainer following right behind him.
