Yeah. Laviolette and Vigneault are 2 of the co-coaches, but now the coach of the Cup winners from the previous year gets to be a co-coach too. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/08/peter-laviolette-and-alain-vigneault-to-co-coach-at-nhl-all-star-game/

Quenneville is one of the co-coaches for the All Star Game? Didn't realize being the coach of the 10th seed in the West had such good perks... Ah, nevermind. Forgot that the Stanley Cup winning coach gets to coach the following ASG...

Stuart out 6-8 weeks with broken jaw

The Thrashers play again tomorrow afternoon, whereas the Flames don't play again until Tuesday. It makes sense that the League put a bit of a rush on the Eager suspension, since they would have wanted to hold the disciplinary hearing before the Thrasher's next game.

    Osgood might need groin surgery

"Just like the Mounties. We always get our man." "Mrs. Peacock was a MAN?!" Anyways, this could be really bad news. I've been of the opinion that Ozzie needed more starts to try and push Howard to get better. No offense to the guy, but I think J-Mac would have a much harder time trying to do the same.

That's such a bittersweet moment. I LOVE seeing Babs get pissed like that, and to be so candid. But damn it, I hate that it took a situation like that to see him get that openly pissed with a member of the press.

Stuart out 6-8 weeks with broken jaw

Babcock calling the hit "disgraceful", and then saying "it's unfortunate when that &$!% goes on" (FSD had to bleep it out).

Selanne was out for about 3 weeks last year with a broken jaw. Broke on January 13th, and he returned February 1st. It's usually a 3-6 weeks kind of injury, FWIW.

Stuart out 6-8 weeks with broken jaw

I swear, we are cursed since December. Every time we get a win, we lose a player to injury. FYI, the usual time missed for a broken jaw is 3-6 weeks.

f***. Stewie with a broken jaw. There's GOT to be a suspension for that hit.

Great high pressure kill there to send this to the shootout.

Actually, I thought they had good pressure on that one. The hand pass hurt us, with the puck going outside the zone again. (Totally legitimate call, though). I don't think Detroit planned on Calgary being so aggressive with their penalty killing, though. All night they've been challenging the puckholder, and putting lots of pressure on the forecheck. I think that may be why they've looked a bit out of sync.
