They're also a bit skinnier than the normal numbers too. I see it most prominently in the number 2. Fairly easy to see in the Rafalski jersey in your picture, and the one here...

I knew I wasn't the only person to notice that. The jerseys sold at the Joe (and at Hockeytown Authentics, I've noticed) seem to have more rounded edges, instead of the squared & blocked edges of the on-ice jerseys.

Geez. 60 minutes still isn't enough. Came to life in the third after a second where I think they were asleep. No one better touch any Avs player in OT. I have no doubt that the refs will call a penalty at even the slightest thing.

That was so predictable it's not even funny. Seven penalties... Even considering the fact that the Refs have been complete hacks tonight, we can't go around giving teams that many chances.

And how many of those Avs are still playing today? I hated the Avs as much as anyone back in the day, but that rivalry is over. Shattenkirk (the Av who got hit) was 9 when that rivalry was in it's heyday. I don't think you really need to hold THAT much of a grudge against him. And even then, I wouldn't have celebrated for any player getting smashed in the face with a puck. I like to believe that's what makes our fanbase better than theirs...

They scored 2, we scored 2 (Rex! and Mule, both on the PP). Homer took a puck to the face off the boards late in the first, was gone for about 5 minutes into the 2nd, but is back now. Colorado looks to have had more energy tonight, which figures since they haven't played since Thursday, and we're on the back end of a back-to-back game.
