Well, that's it. Pack it in. Might as well close down the GDT, and turn off the stream. Mindfly has already predicted we'll have a loss. No point in playing out the rest of the more than half the game that's left, because it's blatantly obvious that we are going to lose.

Boy Mick's on a tear against the refs. I'll take the PP.

No Dats on the bench. Not a good sign.
  10. In my experience, the closer you are to the bench, the harder it is to see the game. Between the players standing up at every scoring chance to see, the coaches moving back and forth, and the players shuffling around before/after line changes, it gets very hard to see the action on the ice. That's probably why the seats farther up are actually more expensive. That said, when you're that close to the bench, you get to see the players much more up close than you would higher up. That's kind of the trade off.

Aha, but by your line of reasoning, SV% is the most reliable stat for determining how well a goalie is playing. So by your logic, Howard DID in fact outplay Price in that game. Boxscore, 12/10/10, Canadiens vs. Red Wings Howard - .947% SV% Price - .903 SV% Not to mention the fact that Montreal outshot us 38-32, and basically controlled the entire 3rd period (outshot us 19-3). So, yes, actually, Howard did outplay Price.

You need to calm down. Remember, that you are a guest in this house. Parading around with an attitude like that is not a good way to ensure that the welcome mat stays out for you.

Did Lidstrom send you a txt message with that? Or maybe you follow a player's Swedish-only Twitter account? Because I'd really love to know how you seem to know exactly what the Wings are thinking during a game.

Wrong on both counts. Detroit has a game in hand, and is up by one for getting the OT point.

Razor Reaugh gets on my nerves after awhile, but I'd take the Stars crew over LA, Anaheim, or SJ's any day of the week. That said, I have the game playing in HD on my TV, and have drumnj's stream playing on the MacBook. Spent a few seconds syncing them up, and voila! Ken and Mickey making the calls on my HDTV!
