While that may be true, I can also say that the Stars have a bigger percentage of ******* fans than other teams. I've been to one game in LA, one game in Anaheim, and probably about 9 or 10 games here in Dallas. And every single game here in Dallas, we run into a huge percentage of jerk fans. Even the game against Anaheim, the fans were fairly respectable.

Yup, and we have a Cup Finals appearance, and a second round appearance to show for it. While Dallas has missed the playoffs both years since. Don't feel too bad.

Started out well. We were up 2-0 after 12 minutes, but they backed off a bit since then. The Stars then got 2 goals off deflections. Starting out the second period in a 4-on-3 PK.

Gotta love technology. I'm forced to watch the game on the local Fox Sports Southwest station, which means the overtly homeristic Stars' play by play guys. So I have the FSD feed on a stream, and I have the game synced to the online feed via the DVR's rewind capability.

Yeah, not so much. If they wanted to call up a goalie from San Antonio and have him in NYC in time for the game, about the latest they could have placed the call would have been about 9:30am-10:00am. The latest flights out of SA that would arrive at Laguardia or JFK in time for the game would be about 11:30am (Because no carrier flies non-stop San Antonio to NYC). Travelocity shows one Delta flight that leaves at 11:49am that would arrive at 6:20pm, but then getting to the Garden by 7pm would be miraculous to say the least. Tack on arriving in San Antonio an hour early to check in and make it through security, and it's just not feasible. They probably checked on Bryz around 8-9am to see if he could at least dress for the game. Once they saw that he couldn't, I'm sure they thought the logistics through of flying in a backup from SA, and saw the same screens I looked at to pull that information, so they had to explore other options.

I'm sure with enough finagling and persuasion I could probably get some here in Dallas. But being as stuffed up, coughy, runny-nosey, etc, Arby's just doesn't really sound that good. Next time, perhaps.

I'm actually pretty encouraged by that report (not that I was discouraged before reading it, mind you). It seems like he's laid a bit of a challenge down to the guys when he said that they better "play well and look after that". I hope the boys get the message.
