Yea if we win Game 5, we could actually pull this off. Imagine SJ adding blowing a 3-0 lead to their playoff resume? I would think a comeback like this would be earlier against a team like The Sharks, who are probably the biggest chokers in North American Sports history!

Yea I was thinking that after I hit "Reply". If we stretch this thing, it'll either go to 5 or 7... Man, just thinking about a Game 7, that would be really interesting! In the OHL, the Spitfires, last round, won 4 in a row after going down 0-3.

Win or lose stick with Howard! Adversity only makes people stronger, let Jimmy take his lumps and get playoff experience. Sometimes a team needs to think long term, and this one of those times. Keep Ozzie on the bench.

If we lose, it sucks, but everything starts over in October. The guys get to rest up and go at it again. If we get eliminated, this summer just watch your 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008 Stanley Cup DVDs. Also, if you have the DVD set with all 6 games of the 2008 final, watch those too. The great thing about winning Championships is that no one can take them away from you.

Can't win every year. Also, like Crymson said, it's tough to win when all the calls are going the other way. I'm not one who believes the League tries to decided the outcome of games, but the last 4 Wings games really makes me wonder... We're not a bunch of goons and are among the lowest penalized teams in the regular season, but get most of the penalties called against us in the playoffs.

On the bright side, I've watched so much playoff hockey the last 3 years, it'll be kinda nice to enjoy the spring outside instead of inside in front of the tv.

Nice goal by The Sharks, props to them for the win. It's still to bad we only had 2:07 minutes of PP time tonight, and the overall PP are so lopsided.

One of my favorite Ernie Harwell moments occurred when he joined John Miller and Joe Morgan in the booth during the 2006 playoffs. Edit: The Tigers playoffs, not the Red Wings, for all you "just hockey" nerds.

Nice, a 2 goal lead going into the 3rd. I'm expecting a few more SJ power plays Nuts to the TSN intermission, I'm watching the Pens-Habs until the Wings are ready to go.
