Yea 3 of our 4 cups came with the white on, 1997, 2002, and 2008. I think I favor the white because of that, plus I have a white Yzerman jersey. However, the Red is sweet too, but I lean White .

I think the NHL should hand out points like they did in the Olympics, every game is 3 points. 3-points for a regulation win, 2-points for a OT or SO win, 1-point for losing in OT, and 0 for losing in 60 minutes. The SO isn't going anywhere, so in my opinion, this makes the most sense.

After getting 5 points on the Canadian Western trip, I think we've made the playoffs. Looking at the schedule, we should go 7-3-1, 15 points, in the remaining 11.

Agreed, I never had a problem with ties. Actually some of the most exciting games I've seen live were ties.

I'm happy with 3 points in the Alberta games. Typical game from a team already out of the playoffs like Edmonton. They can't win when it counts, only when there's no chance. The Leafs are winning now too. Yea nice going there 29th and 30th overall teams.

I think it was an ice time thing with Ray. As I said earlier I never understood why we signed him. I was happy giving Draper, Zetterberg, and Datsyuk more ice time with Fedorov bolting to Anaheim.

If that's true, I don't blame Draper. There was still all that B.S. Lemieux said the following year.

I'll second the Krupp transaction as the biggest disappointment. After two straight Cups, that was a big deal to add Krupp to our team. I'll defend the Lang deal. He helped us make it to the Western Conference Final in 2007, giving Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Kronwall the playoff confidence they needed to win the Cup in 2008. I'll defend Hatcher too. If it wasn't for the cap and the lockout, Hatch probably would have helped out in 2004-05 and 2005-06. I never understood signing Whitney. CuJo just had some bad luck. We couldn't score goals in the 2003 and 2004 Playoffs for him.

I'm not a big fan of leaving things on the ice. It's almost an excuse to do whatever you want during the game. The hit on Draper, and more recently Seabrook and Savard, effects off ice too. I remember when I was playing Baseball, one of my coaches said, "Whatever you do on the field, reflects who you are in real life". I've never forgotten that! Again just my opinion. Excellent point Mac!

That's what bothers me the most, he doesn't think he did anything wrong. Edit: Lemieux says he didn't mean to hurt Draper, but what did he expect would happen by driving (someone smaller than him, and with his back to him) his face into the boards?
