I was thinking the same thing. I've been wearing shorts the last couple days and thinking Baseball. Then I thought, "Wow, there's still almost a month left in the NHL season, and then the Playoffs!" I get that too, but it's the smell of the Baseball season starting. Same smell though!

Lemieux still makes me sick. I have gained no respect for him after tonight, but don't have a problem with anyone who has. Just my personal opinion. Edit: I can't get over the things Lemieux said in the 1996-97 season about making Draper a household name and a $100,000. He's still a piece of trash!

That's what Lemieux did, he picked on guys either smaller or a lot older than he was. When someone his own size and age took him on, he turtled.

I saw the last 10 minutes, after 13 years, I don't have a problem with Mac and Claude getting along. However until Lemieux says sorry to Draper, he's scum.

So I was looking at the schedule, we played Calgary on Monday, have 3 days off, then play back-to-back, Friday and Saturday, against Edmonton and Vancouver. I was wondering, why would the schedule maker do that? Is the team staying in Alberta for 3 days? Did they fly back to Detroit? Personally if I had 3 days off on a road trip, I'd rather be in New York, Florida, or LA, not snowy Alberta.

Oh nice. Well I guess that goes along with what I was saying about staying in Alberta, they took off to BC. I laughed about the part of video game golf, and Ozzie hitting it straight everytime, "he owns the game".

A game in 08-09, I was standing at the glass during warmups in the corner. The "weird little dude", while I was watching Ozzie make a save, shot a puck right at my face. It would have hit me right in the nose, haha. About a minute later he hit the glass with his stick right in front of the face of a guy with a faux hawk. I hope he's back with the Wings next year. -

Baseball is #1 for me, but my favorite sports team to follow is the Wings. Weird huh ? Figure that one out? So Baseball #1, Hockey #2, and Football is a distant #3. I only watch Basketball if the Pistons and/or Michigan State is winning.
