I'm sure Ozzie being pulled had something to do with the way Chicago was playing too. I'm surprised some of you didn't get that, NBC even mentioned it! Someone on the Hawks probably would have taken a swipe at Ozzie.

:beerbuddy: from me to the Refs today too. I can understand missed calls here and there, they're human, it happens. Mostly I like to see them protect the players when they have to and keep them safe. I don't mind the rough stuff, but there's a point where it crosses the line. I think Chicago today crossed the line. Hopefully those brats on the Black Hawks got the message and will stay civil for Game 5.

They probably get letters like this all the time. There's enough questionable things going on in the NHL where core fans are mad, it's probably just added to the pile. I agree that O'Halloran shouldn't be an NHL ref anymore. Anyone who says he hates a city in the League should be out the door. I think bad calls go either way, eventually things even out. If we didn't tie the game last night, this probably wouldn't be as big a deal as it is.

Funny, the two elite goalies in this year's playoffs, Brodeur and Luongo, blew it for their teams. I think a Final 4 of Ozzie, Khabibulin, Ward, and Fleury is very solid. -
I remember when people were saying we should start Conklin over Osgood in the playoffs.

My poor neighbors, when Sammy put that one in, that was probably the loudest I've ever yelled in my life. The 3 on 1 rush helped with the emotion. You'd think after 4 Cup runs it wouldn't be as exciting, but I'm finding out that's not the case at all. I want this Cup as much as the other 4. -
Off topic, but Hossa been a disappointment in this year's playoffs.

I think NO! Maltby's been here since 1996 and won 4 Cups. Hossa's selfish if he wanted Maltby to give up his number.

The Flyers are one of the biggest chokers in the League. All those years from 1995-2004 they lost in the Conference Finals. And their only trip to the Finals in that time we swept them.

My favorite was "He's So Fine" for Lang. This kind of thing makes me appreciate The Joe's DJ, he takes the time to connect music with what's going on in the game. I think whatever he plays, there will always be someone complaining, you can't make everyone happy.

Before the Lockout I would always hear, "The Wings buy their Cups", mostly it was from Leaf fans. The Leafs were the most bought team in the League, and I would inform them about that, because they either traded away all their draft picks or sucked at scouting. I've never understood the Detroit sh!t hole comments. I'm the first person to admit Detroit is a dump, but what does that have to do with Hockey?

I love it! I even yell "born and raised in SOUTH DETROIT" while watching at home, and I was born and raised in Southern Ontario.

Listen to the lyrics, most songs have something to do with what's going on during the game. The DJ at The Joe is a thinker, and doesn't just play what's currently at the top of the charts. To each their own, but personally I like his choices.

I live in Canada, so 2003, 2004, and 2006 I heard all the, "The Red Wings are Playoff chokers" crap, even though we won it all in 1997, 1998, and 2002. I don't get to many of those people talking hockey with me now after another Cup and 3 straight Conference Finals appearances, which is fine with me. I get tired of everyone's analysis anyway. I'm kind of snobby that way

Cleary and Sammy, it's hard to imagine nobody wanted them 4 years ago. We added them to our roster last minute and they have continued to be key contributers. Even Franzen, he was drafted 4th round.

The guy drives me nuts in the Regular Season, but he's great in the playoffs! All he does is get's the puck to the net. That was a great goal today... Fakes the shot, moves to his right, and fires it top shelf again.

Yea there's a lot of team with a big future ahead of them, Chicago is just one of many. We've got a good future too.

Honestly I don't understand why some of you go over to another team's message board. What do you expect to read there? Obviously it'll be pro their team and anti Red Wings.
