Bob McCown on the FAN590 in Toronto, he does the 4-7pm show, finds the timing of the Steen-Colaiacovo-Stempniak trade very interesting. He thinks either Burke had something to do with it, or that Burke isn't coming to Toronto.

No suprise, I would be surprised to read that Hossa's coming back to Detroit after this season. Hossa's here for a year, we won't be able to fit him under the cap with Zetterberg and Franzen looking to sign long term after this season.

Or how 'bout Game 2 of the 1998 Stanley Cup Final? Washington was up 3-1 with 12 minutes left in the 3rd, but we came back and won 5-4 on a OT goal by Draper. BTW probably one of my favorite Wings games.

See a trend.... In an 82 game season, there will be a few games every season where we blow a big 3rd period lead. How about posting those games where we can back from a big 3rd period deficit.... I remember one game in 05-06 where Dallas was up 2-0 half way into the 3rd at the Joe only to see us win 3-2.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lidstrom, Rafalski, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Hossa are voted in as starters.

I'm bummed Billups is gone . I'm not a big Basketball guy, so I really can't say who got the better of the deal. Mostly my reaction is based on the fact that Billups has been my favorite Piston since Ben left for Chicago. It's not fun to see your favorite players go, but that's sports. -
Hey if there were no shootouts, we would have won the Presidents Trophy in 06-07 and the Leafs would have made the playoffs. Interesting stuff. :wow:

Yzermaynard I've seen that commercial many times. Everytime I see it I either think or say, 1) "Umm the Wings beat the Penguins last year", or 2) "Stupid commercial" But I agree with CrossoverThrash, it's mostly just making Pittsburgh fans look like retards.
