The Pens have been playing the trap all playoffs.

Jokes on them, Chelios hasn't played a game in the final. I seem to be using this word a lot since the finals began, when talking about the Pens, their coach, and now their fans, "Meatheads".

If we win tomorrow, I'm looking forward to the boos when he comes out to present the cup. I bet he has someone else do it.

Scoring is back down to pre-lockout levels.

I'm with you, I can't believe we're only one win away from a 4th Stanley Cup in 11 seasons, which in my opinion will put us among some of the greatest teams in history. One more victory could make us the next best NHL Dynasty after the Canadiens x2, Islanders, and Oilers. I know the Wings (50's) and Leafs (60's) won 4 cups, but with the consecutive years we've made the playoffs and the number of playoff rounds it takes to win now, it could be more impressive. It is unreal.

Ok since it's a 3-1 series, now I'll vote. I vote Zetterberg, a 2nd place vote to Ozzie, and a 3rd to Kronwall. Someone mentioned Datsyuk.... I've been really impressed by his play and toughness this run, but he hasn't scored a goal at home yet. The numbers aren't there for Pav, but he's played awesome.

Best game of the series by far. Outstanding effort by our boyz in Pittsburgh! After the Pens goal, we completely dominated! Pittsburgh was playing the trap in a 1-1 tie, which I thought was odd. Looking ahead to Monday.... I wonder, if not scoring on the 5 on 3 and losing a game at home, if Pittsburgh is done? I wonder too, if we'll win big on Monday? One more win everyone and Stanley is home!

Is it just me, or is waiting the extra day to get the game on Saturday night getting annoying? They take to many extra days off in the playoffs, just go every second day like the NBA. No need to continue to drag it out. But anyway, I say 4-2 Wings. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Cleary, and Draper.

I've been wanting Sheed gone for a few seasons now, and I'm starting to feel the same way about Prince. I'm hoping after 3 straight years of losing in the Conference Finals, they'll finally make changes. Billups and Hamilton need a better supporting cast. What makes this Sheed and Prince thing worse is how well Hamilton played with a hyper-extended elbow. Imagine if Hamilton had to miss tonight and Billups was on his own? Edit: Not that it would have made a big difference, but I still miss Ben.

I guess Therrien doesn't understand that if the refs make more calls on the Wings, they'll also call more on the Pens. Most games the PP's are even because the refs don't want to be the difference in the game.

There's enough pissed off Leaf fans that would switch in a second to a Southern Ontario team. Toronto/Sourthern Ontario could support 3 NHL teams no problem. There's about 7 million hockey crazed people here. Ottawa would be fine, since it's a 5 hour drive away. The team it would hurt the most, due to a declining population, is the Sabres.

I would think if Babs stays quiet it'll work in our favor. Edit: The more Therrien talks about this, the more he's showing up the refs.

Agreed. I'm not convinced a team can survive in Winnipeg or Quebec City again either. I'm about 50/50 on KC, but it would probably be better than some markets that already have teams. Vegas, don't even try it. Personally I think the 3 best markets to try (in order) are Sourthern Ontario, Seattle, and Houston.

I don't know if I'd go as far as saying he's lacking fire and passion. I'd say more so that his body can't handle being the power forward he once was with St. Louis and Detroit.

I really can't argue against that, but it's good to see us back in the Finals only 2 years after Shanny and Stevie left. I heard on the FAN590 in Toronto, the only way the Rangers will re-sign Shanny is if he agrees to take a lesser roll (4th line minutes and 2nd PP line) with the team. As for the debate about bringing him back, I second what NFM said. As much as I enjoyed having him on the team and appreciated everything he did, I wasn't upset to see him go. It was time to break up with him

I was wondering if they were going to go back to Detroit for the off days, but I'd rather they stay in Pittsburgh. I would think they'd be more focused there and have less distractions then if they went home.

That's ok by me. The Pens can get congratulated, patted on the back, stroked, and hugged the next two days by the media. We'll stay in the background and prepare ourselves to win the series in 5.

I'm with you. The next two days Pittsburgh, Crosby, Malkin, and Fleury can hear about how great they are, while we make some adjustments and get ready to take a 3-1 series lead Saturday night.

No worries here, it would have been nice to sweep, but that's expecting to much. You'd have to figure the Pens would get a couple bounces going their way. Credit to Pittsburgh and Crosby for getting back into the series, but we bounced back against Dallas, and we'll bounce back against Pittsburgh. This gives us a chance to win the Cup on home ice.

Pittsburgh was unable to knock us out of this game. Lets see if they can hold this lead. I'm sure Fleury will see a lot of rubber this period.

That's what I'm most worried about is some of our guys getting injured by those meat heads on the Pens after we shut them down again. Hopefully Datsyuk laying out Roberts and Franzen giving a couple shots to Malkin calms them down. I've been confident all playoffs about a Cup, so I'm not worried about tonight's game. As mentioned, all we need to do is split in Pittsburgh. Winning both games is a bonus.

Crosby will win a Cup, but not this year.
