I'm ok if Babs breakups the Hank-Dats-Homer line. I think Bertuzzi on Datsyuk's line is a good idea. Who's going to want to pound Datsyuk with Bertuzzi on the ice? I think Zetterberg is ok without Bertuzzi. He showed last year he can hold his own. I don't think we need to have set lines. I hope Babs mixes it up in the playoffs and gives our opponents a different look.

Nice post rick zombo . Datsyuk did drive me nuts for a while when Shanny or Hull was on his line. Instead of shooting the puck, he was continually trying to pass to them. This year he's taken more shots, so he doesn't drive me nuts anymore. Now the main thing that drives me nuts is when people here are all doom and gloom when we lose a game.

Well last night's game against Anahiem was the 1st time I was able to see Bertuzzi in a Wings jersey. I notice mostly he isn't the fastest skater out there, but how tough he is to hit off the puck. He's going to be great on the Power Play. I was impressed a lot with Franzen. He was really throwing his body around. Last night felt like the playoffs.

Lot's of negative discussions on here lately, but it's Friday, the weather is getting nicer, and I didn't have to work today, soooo it's time for something fun. Who's on the back of your Red Wings Jersey and what color is it (Red, White, Black, whatever)? I have 4 Wings Jerseys, three Hockey and a Baseball. On the back is: Yzerman -White with all 3 Stanley Cup patches. It's sweet, I've got a couple compliments at Wings games for the 3 Patches. McCarty -White Shanahan -Red The Wings Baseball Jersey is Red and Yzerman is on the back of that one too. Edit: Also, feel free to add if you are looking to get a jersey in the future and who you want on the back of it. If Bertuzzi works out, I'd like to get a Bert jersey.

I agree. It's tough to read something that isn't spaced out, there's no capitals to start sentances, and Instant Message slang. I had a friend who went to Africa for 4 months to work. Every so often he sent back e-mails updating the rest of us on how he was doing and what he was working on. He didn't properly use paragraphs and didn't use capitals to start sentances, plus they were very long. I found it very tough to read, and never read through an entire e-mail. The clutter and all the small case letters runied it for me. Other people were telling me to read it because, the guy who was away has a great sence of humor, and they were very entertaining, but I just couldn't without better grammer.

A last minute trip to a Wings game on a Monday night and having to pick up tickets before wasn't practical for me to enter. I'm happy someone who hasn't been to The Joe since 2001-02 can go. I went 3 times in the 2006 calender year, so I'm good until the 2007-08 season. So what was the answer? Since I wasn't entering, I didn't bother trying to find it.

Wow, there's a lot of people here who like the Sabres in the East. As mentioned, I think Buffalo and Detroit have a lot of similarities. I wonder if Sabre fans like the Wings in the West.

I've always liked Buffalo in the East. I'm only an hour away, so I know what's going on with the Sabers as well as the Red Wings. I've been to 3 games in Buffalo, and I really like the atmosphere at the HSBC Arena. I think Detroit and Buffalo have a lot of similarities as cities (border town, blue collar workers, etc.) and fans, so I've just kind of naturally followed them as well. Plus, since I can't stand the Leafs, the Sabers always are Leaf killers. So I really like that.

Right, which is why it's ok if the Corporations buy them, even if they are empty. The team still get's the money if the seat isn't being used. Sounds smart to me. Thanks to the season ticket holders and Corporations, we have plenty of money to continue to stay compeititve. If the Wings relied on the average fan to sell out the building, we'd be broke.

Yeah what to people want? Should he have got a huge ovation while getting ready for the shoot out, and cheered again when he scored? Fedorov is with the opposition and is a treat to beat us, there's no way he should be cheered and encouraged at The Joe. He'll get his ovation in due time after he retires. I for one would like to see him be thanked by the fans for what he did in Detroit one day, however, now is not the right time.

This is the reason why I'm not going to enter. I can make it to Detroit in 3 hours, but having to pick up tickets before hand, plus my work schedule, I can't make it in time. If there's tickets for a Friday night or weekend game, I'll enter no question.

Right, there is a reason he get's boooed. Anyone who played Center in Detroit from 1983-2006 was 2nd to Yzerman, it didn't matter who he was. Fedorov didn't always like it, but that's what made him such a great Red Wing and a 3 time Champion, he wanted more.

Yeah I was thinking after he retires. But I think some people, like myself, who would boooo are starting to ease up. Booing Fedorov should be expected, just like Chicago fans booo Cheli. It's part of the game.

Atleast the seats are sold, so the Organization has the money to reinvest in the team. If you look around the league, everyone has empty lower bowl seats. Think about it, when someone/corporation has tickets to all 41 games they can't make them all. People still have a life to live. It better if the lower bowl is corporate. How many of you are willing to pay $80 a seat? I'm not. If the lower bowl was left for the average fan and a game by game basis, the seats would never be sold. Also, I don't like how people compare Detroit to Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. There's a lot more to do in Detroit than those Canadian cities, so the Wings have more competition around town for entertainment dollars.

I'm over it as well. I was pissed when he left, but as they say, time heals all wounds. Actually with the Cap, I'm glad he did leave. Imagine having his contract around after 2003-04 when we were trying to buy out players? The boooing doesn't bother me. Wings fans can do what they want.
