I didn't see it, but I read about it here. One of the Joe's said something about him hitting Draper and that he didn't like it. Claude said he was all talk, just like Kris.
-
I bet Bertuzzi scores a PP goal in his 1st game back. The Joe will go nuts!
-
They shouldn't even bother interviewing Claude. He talked smack about Draper in Pro's vs. Joe's a few months ago, so he'll still have something negative to say about Draper. Don't give Lemieux a chance to turn this into an issue again, it's not fair to Kris. Mac ended it 10 years ago, leave it in the past.

See this is the reason why I don't want the Wings to win the division. Let Nashville face Calgary in the 1st round. I'm happy playing either Dallas or San Jose.
-
Yeah, same.

Sooo......... If you listen to Holland it could be Thursday, Babs it's Saturday.

East: NJ vs. Buffalo West: No clue. You may as well just stick the teams in a hat and pick them that way . The West is sooo up in the air!

This will answer your question about Bertuzzi. It also has something in there about Zetterberg. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...0444/1128/rss16

Stars president 'sick' of Predators' overall attitude
Barrie replied to Salviaman's topic in General
I'm a little torn on this. It would have been nice if they did something, but didn't Modano during the lockout say Nashville should be retracted? Nashville fans and the organization probably haven't forgotten those comments. Any announcement about Modano setting the record would lead him to being boooed. Maybe it was better nothing was said..... -
I think when it comes down to it, mostly people pick which style of player they want. Orr, Howe, and Gretzky all were a different style of player, which makes it really tough picking who was the greatest.
-
It's a great debate. With what you said, I'd still put Howe above Gretzky.
-
Here's how I rank the top 3: Orr Howe Gretzky
-
Yeah, scary thought

To bad Zetterberg can't make it back that night. Oh well, just as long as he's back for the playoffs.

Other than the obvious (which are already mentioned), here's another one of my favorites.... The SHG he scored in Game 2 in the 1998 Final to spark the comeback was awesome! I have that game on dvd, I still can't believe it. He came out of no where, waited out Kolzig, and fired it short side. So much poise! Edit: Plays like that are what make people a true Captain.

Us Canadian Wings fans will be able to watch tonight . This is going to be an excellent game. I'm looking forward to it.

Knowing the Leafs luck, 2004-05 was probably their year.
-
I wonder who would have won in 2004-05?

No doubt I'm in the minority here, but I like the Western Conference better. We have some good rivarlies against Colorado, Dallas, Nashville, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Chicago, St. Louis, San Jose, etc.. If we move East, it'll take years to re-establish meaningfull rivarlies. Some of our games against the East this year didn't come close to the hype. What the League needs to do is go back to it's pre-lockout schedule. I'm not going to get into it again, but the League has said the Wings are to important to the West, and Jimmy D has agreed to it as well. We're staying West.
-
It'll be easier for me to go to games then . The new arena should be closer to Hockeytown Cafe.
-
Ok, well Anaheim then.
-
I don't have a problem with a team in Vegas. Instead of expanding though, I think the League should relocate a franchise. Seattle sounds good to me too. They should move the Panthers and the Kings to Vegas and Seattle. Florida and Georga shouldn't have 3 teams, and I think overall the LA market would do better if there was just one Franchise there.
-
Out of Hasek, Brodeur, and Roy, I'll take Brodeur. Brodeur doesn't lose his cool and isn't injury prone.
-
Up until this year I would have picked Roy, but I'm starting to give the nod to Brodeur. Brodeur seems more level headed between the pipes. Roy was outstanding, but he did lose his cool. We saw him self-distruct more than once (1996-last game in Montreal, 1997-WCF, 1998-fight against Osgood, 2002-Game 6 and 7). Roy sometimes seemed to make a bad situation worse. I don't think it's fair to discredit what Brodeur has done because of the NJ system. We've seen how important it is to have solid goaltending (Cheveldae, Essensa, CuJo, and Legace couldn't cut it here with an outstanding teams in front of them). Bad goaltending eventually catches up with you.
