I'm a Karen Newman fan, but I'd rather it be done organ style and the fans just sing a long. I would think the players would appreciate if the anthems were sung at regular speed, so they can get the game started!

I've heard the argument that if you don't win your division, finishing 6th in the Conference is the best spot to be in, because you take on the weakest of the division winners. However, I think with all our players coming back from injury, we'll hold on to 4th.

I blame the market for that contract. Dude you got a negative stalker!

Maybe the Canucks shouldn't have bit fingers, taunted the Bruins, and head hunted Horton in the first 3 games? And they blame Luongo for the loss.

That would be amazing if SJ didn't make the playoffs. That would be better than beating them, if they didn't even make it! For some of the dumbest fans in the League my votes goes to Sharks fans. They treated beating the Wings, with their stupid "Beat Detroit" chant, like winning the Stanley Cup. Seeing Sharks fans go crazy when they beat us back-to-back years, my first thought was, "Ummm, you're only half way, relax."

And to think, IF we win the Cup, that's 3 more months of hockey.

I'm a big Osgood fan, but that's how we usually won when Ozzie was between the pipes. Just as long as Ozzie didn't allow more that 3 goals, we'd win. Edit: Oh by the way, wasn't me.

If the Canucks won I'd be happy for my family from Vancouver, but that's it. Despite being Canadian, I'm the first to say people from Vancouver are a bunch of babies. Plus they hate anything that isn't from Vancouver, especially if it's from Ontario. Same goes for Montreal.

My vote would be San Jose, however, they'll never win anyway. Toronto would be my second pick because I live 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, and wouldn't hear the end of it. But just like SJ, that'll never happen, so I guess I'm good.

Wouldn't you know it, I had to go out for a bit and help some people move chairs, so I missed the entire 3rd! Oh well, I was happy to see we finally won a game. Maybe it'll get us going!

Congrats Z on his 20th of the season, and 250th of his career.

I got in this late, but this wasn't just 1 player, it's been 6. Teams in the 1970's drafted size over skill when the NHL was like the UFC.

Yea good period, we out shot them 16-10. If we keep doing that, we'll break out of this thing. I'm sure it's been said many times already, I'd rather go through this now, then in the playoffs.

I'll add, we've been playing well the last 3 games, but only 1 point to show for it. Eventually things will even out. This maybe one of those games where Carolina needs to get another goal, and fast. The ice has been tilted all game for the Wings. We'll eventually get a few past Ward.

Wow! This is one of those slumps where we're not getting any breaks!

There was talk on TSN radio today about the "Fire Burke" chant, Pierre Lebrun thinks that Burke has one more year to make the playoffs, or he's gone. If I'm a Leafs fan, that's a scary thought, there goes the #1 pick, and more quick fixes next year. Just fire him now, and rebuild this thing properly. The sad thing is, the ACC is still sold our every night, and the waiting list for Seasons Tickets is in the thousands... Leaf fans boo because they pay top $$$ to watch them lose. Guys how 'bout doing something else? Toronto's a world class city, with a TON to do. When the Red Wings went through their 17 year stretch where they only made the playoffs twice, the arena was half empty and they were giving away a car every game. Win or lose, always losing, and the ACC is packed. What a mess! I wonder why me, the Red Wings fan, is the one frustrated with the Leafs. I guess since I have a lot of friends who are Leafs fans, I see how much their team takes them for granted, and how stupid my friends are to still financially support the team. It would be better if those seats were empty.
