It must be off the ice, because Doan and Iginla have that "I'm Canadian, it's our game, and I'm entitled to everything in this game according to Don Cherry" mentality on it. Obviously it's an east coast bias. Everyone in the East is in bed by the time our team plays, so how would they know what goes on in Vancouver, i.e. God's country?

Typical person on the west coast who thinks the east is against them. The Canucks had the Bruins, but the Bruins had enough of their diving, cheap shots, and biting. The gutless Canucks woke a sleeping giant, and now everyone out there blames Luongo for the loss. If the Canucks paid more attention to winning games in the final, instead of all the cheap stuff, they would have won the series in 5. Vancouver turned the final into a street fight, and turtled when the bigger and tougher Bruins fought back. Edit: The Canucks fans are gutless too. Who destroys their city when they lose a Championship?

Just watching last night's shootout, when going up against a goalie as big as Luongo, good luck trying to beat him low, it's almost impossible to win.

(As mentioned earlier, I was at the game last night) Entertaining game, we got our money's worth. However, we allowed to many shots, 46. You can tell this team misses Datsyuk. Hopefully we can play .500 these next two weeks. Great game by Helm and Howard. I think this is the best goaltending we've had in decades. I agree, Quincey had a good game. He was in most of the after whistle scrums, and scored a goal. I'm glad he's back.

Leaving at 1:30 with my cousin, who's a Canucks fan, for the game tonight. They're talking about a snow storm tonight for Michigan-Ontario over night, but we're going anyway! The Weather Network says the worst will be at 4am, but we'll be back by 1:30-2am anyway, so no worries. I made a comment on my facebook about us going, and that after tonight we may only be cousins by name only . He replied, "Remember I have the advantage, I have the car keys". Edit: It's always a tough decision, on which jersey to wear. I have Yzerman, Shanahan, Holmstrom, and a Osgood jersey t-shirt... I think I'm leaning Osgood t-shirt.

I vote Lang. I know looking back now we gave up a lot, but I think Lang did a lot to help the team in the 2007 playoffs, which lead to the 2008 Cup.

The problem with Cherry is that people still watch him. More and more people are turning on him and his 1970's views, but they continue to give him high ratings. Honestly, I haven't watched Don in about 10 years.

Why do sports analysts call defense "the back end"? Pierre said The Wings are, "bringing heat from the back end". Is it just me, or do I need to grow up?

The Canucks should be thanking the Wings for softening up the Sharks for them. FYI, the Canucks used the Wings model to built their team. The Wings are up to, and better than, the Canucks caliber, because they invented it. I think if the two teams played each other in the WCF the Wings would win because the Sedin's won't be able to step up to the level of play Datsyuk and Zetterberg are capable in the playoffs and they'll disappear, again. Also the pressure on Luongo in the 2012 playoffs will be more than last year, leaving Howard to probably have a better series. Wings in 6. Thursday's game will be more important to me, because I'll be there!

I want the Wings to win every game, but I really want them to win today! I'm going to the game against Vancouver on Thursday, and would love to be in the crowd when they're going for #24!

Is Conk even able to be traded? Isn't there a CBA rule that says players can't get traded the same year they signed a contract. I would think Conk will be sent down to Grand Rapids, if he clears waivers.

Thanks to hooon's link, that was the first time I saw the GWG. I think those passes by Lidstrom and Zetterberg were as good as Datsyuk's goal! Excellent play all around! Here's hoping the Wings win on Sunday against SJ, because I'm going to be at the game Thursday vs. Vancouver. It'll be fun to be in the crowd if the streak is still going.
