Yea but, the floor is why 10 teams are almost bankrupt. Teams can't keep up with the increasing floor. Personally I think they should allow teams to go under the floor, but if they do, they can't get in on revenue sharing.

Seeing the fans in tears, my first thought was, "If the team means that much to you, where were you the last 15 years?" Edit: That sounds mean, but great season Coyotes. I think being in Glendale was their undoing. I have no idea why they got out of downtown and didn't share an arena with the Suns. Now Glendale will have an empty arena.

Geeze Canadian hockey broadcasts drive me crazy! CBC, TSN, it doesn't matter, they always pick favorites. CBC has huge man love for Doan. Give me an American hockey broadcast any day!

Oh, I should mention I heard a clip of Tippett on the radio today saying Bryzgalov will play better tonight. I said, "Well he really can't play any worse."

Yea that's why Phoenix is down 3-0, they were more worried about being goons than putting the puck in the net and actually trying to stop the Wings from scoring. If it wasn't for some questionable penalty calls, Howard would have at least one shutout so far.

At the beginning of the series I said Wings in 5, so I guess I'm down for Phoenix winning tonight, but screw that! 5-2 Wings!

Yea that second hit was a beauty! I laugh everytime I see it. He made Jovanovski fly two feet into the boards, telling him I'm not intimidated!

I've always thought NBC and Verses have done a decent job with the NHL. However I was a little disappointed to hear FOX was in the bidding and they didn't win. FOX has always done an excellent job with MLB and the NFL. Edit: and I don't think FOX would have brought back the glowing puck.

I know the Islanders suck, but their tv numbers, in the biggest city, is shocking! You'd think in a city that big, they could get more than 9,000 households watching them play.

geeze, Canadian hockey players need to reevaluate how they play hockey. They need to stop being a bunch of thugs, and worry about putting the puck in the net.
