Same here, he's great! He doesn't have to yell and scream like some guys do, he just talks like you're sitting beside him in the stands.

Ken Daniels was on TSN radio in Toronto on Thursday and doesn't expect Z back until Game 6, if there is one. Simple solution, just wrap this thing up in 4, and Z will get a few extra days to heal.

I remember there was rumors Yzerman broke his foot when him and McCarty went off roading on dirt bikes a few days before the playoffs. Then Shanny got injured in Game 2. 2001 was tough, but 2002 made up for it.

My favorite of the 4 Stanley Cup runs. I remember for the first two series of that run wondering game by game if Stevie was going to play. The last two series, I had no doubt "The Captain" would be in there giving it his all. Stevie's finest hour!

April and October are the best months for sports fans like me, who's a big Hockey, Baseball, and Football fan. October is my favorite sports month, NHL has started, MLB is in the playoffs, and the NFL and CFL (Canadian Football League) are in full swing. There's something on every night!

Bettman tired to stop this before. I have 1997 playoff games on VHS/DVD, and whenever a octopus hit the ice, Bud Lynch had to tell the fans if something is thrown on the ice, it's an automatic penalty to the home team. If it didn't work then, it won't work now.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I really enjoyed the NBC broadcast without Pierre McGuire. He's on the Philly-Sabres game right now. I really hope he does Eastern games this playoffs and stays far away from Detroit.

I find the only thing the refs are consistent with is calling penalties against teams that are ahead in the 3rd period. I'm wondering if they're told to keep games close and exciting?

Doan and Jovonaski are now on my most hated list, right there with Iginla, Thornton, and Crosby... Who does Jovo think he is to grab Helm's face like that?! Helm should have spit in his face or something. Anyway we're up 2-0. Let's send the 'yotes to Winnipeg after Game 4! I'm expecting with the rumors of the Coyotes moving, there will be more Wings fans then 'yotes fans at the games in Phoenix.

Gotcha! I did notice NBC also has it available to watch online, so all of you people studying can watch. Just don't yell too loud when the Wings score. There would be no way I could watch a playoff game in the library, I'd get kicked out after the Wings first goal for sure! Also I'd probably get laughed at.

I wonder what happens if officers don't want to enforce the way the NHL wants? What does Bettman do then? Having the NHL telling people how to do their job is really arrogant if you ask me. Again I'll say it, Bettman thinks he's a dictator. In reality, all he does is work for the NHL owners, it's not like he's a politician.

I'm expecting much of the same from Game 1 for Game 2. Add to that, the calls SHOULD even out today. 4-1 Wings! Edit: Oh, and I hope to hear more player names being chanted. How cool would that be to have goal scorers, and guys who make great plays, names being chanted during games regularly?
