I'm getting the Blue Jackets feed... I really like those Columbus jerseys! Very classy looking! Remember when they started and they had those awful hornets as a logo? Smart move on their part to switch their team name from a hornet to the North in the Civil War.

Right. Food has the highest markup by far. It starts at 100% on some items, and ends at 500% on soda and coffee. I don't know if it's going on in Michigan too, but here in Ontario McDonalds is giving away free coffee, all day, for two weeks, which I think is brilliant! They're probably only losing pennies a cup. Also how many people will just get a coffee? Anyone who gets a free coffee, will buy something else, even it's $1 or $2.

I'm amazed at how many people from the Toronto area (GTA) are at Wings games. The last two times I've gone, when they showed the groups on the scoreboard, there was about a 1/3 of them from the GTA. The last time I was there, I was talking with some people from Milton Ontario, which is West of Toronto, a good 3 hours away from Detroit. With the Detroit economy the way it is, the Wings have a big advantage being so close to Toronto, and also the fact it's cheaper to go see the Wings, including travel costs, than it is to see the Leafs. Plus the hockey is 100x better!

That's always been my plan at sporting events, buy the cheap seats and start the game there, then sneak down.

I was at the Oct 30 game against Nashville, and it looked like the upper bowl was only 2/3 full.

Are you Canadian? Iginla seems to have fooled the entire country of Canada into thinking he's such a great guy! I've said it many times here, I think he has one of the worst tempers in the league.

I noticed this when I was watching the highlights, who is that idiot that keeps lifting his kid up in the air when the Wings score? Talk about unsafe... About the penalties, we've had to put up for years killing off penalties late in games with a one goal lead. It's about time we got a PP with less than two minutes left.

That's two games in one night Calgary fans were complaining about officiating then. Earlier they were complaining about the refs in the Canadian Football (CFL) Western Conference Final, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders, game. Even some of the Calgary players were whining! Saskatchewan won 20-16, two close calls went Saskatchewan's way, and Calgary was called for a lot of penalties in the game, starting a Calgary pity party cry baby fest by fans and players. One of the Calgary players accused the CFL of getting their wish, Saskatchewan (the team the gets the best TV ratings) is in the final. My response seeing two of my favorite teams beat Calgary yesterday is, "Eat it!" At this moment, my most satisfying wins, other than winning a big playoff game (which one of them was yesterday), are against Calgary.

Two of my favorites teams are playing Calgary today, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are playing the Calgary Stampeders in the Western Final in the Canadian Football League. As I said on the Roughriders Message Board, "Calgary can suck it!"

Crazy thing, remembering those false death reports the other day, I was wondering how Pat was doing. RIP Pat. Living in the Toronto area, I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot of Pat Burns stuff on tv, and tributes to the 93 and 94 Leafs team.

Great pics! Those years with DMac, Drapes, Maltbs in their prime may have been the best years to be a Wings fan, and best years to go to a game! Someone from the 50's may not think so, but the team we had from 96-02 = Awesome! For the younger Wings fans, now's great too, but there was just something about that team.

Sucks to not be able to hold onto the lead, but being able to grab a point after being down 2-0, I'll take it.

The TSN hockey talk drives me crazy! Actually I find most pregame, intermission/half time, and post game talk drives me crazy. I'm a snob, I don't really care to hear their opinions. Actually I wish there was an option sometimes to watch a game without the play-by-play and color guy. I'm more interested in hearing the arena/stadium P.A. Announcer and the music they play there. If I'm waiting for a game to start and there's someone on tv over analyzing a game I start to yell, "Enough talk you moron, just start the game!!"

Cleary looks like he's on a mission this year. I was at the game a couple Saturday's ago against Nashville, and he even had the "eye of the Tiger" going during warm ups! I'm diggin' Clears longer hair!
