Ozzie get's his 400 win and retires after this year, question, is he going to the Hall of Fame? With 3 Cup rings and 400 wins, I say yes. The thing that bothers me most about losing to the Pens in 2009 is that Ozzie was robbed of a Conn Smythe.

Stay away from Baseball Gary, it has the most parity in all of the 4 major sports. Plus the big markets will say "screw off" if you suggest to put in a cap. Just move on, go away, and don't come back.

Agree, if it was up to me, Ozzie would have started against Edmonton.

Hey, I got back from the game about an hour ago. The arena was about 1/3 empty! Ive never seen so many empty seats at The Joe. I checked the box score and the paid attendance was 18,177, but I wouldn't be surprised if 14,000 showed up. I didn't mind, the concessions lines were fast, it only took a couple minutes to get a hot dog and it was easy to move down to better seats. Great bounce back game by Ozzie. Nice second goal by Datsyuk, only Dats could score that goal!

No chance, the Wings are the biggest draw in the West. A lot of teams like Phoenix will have even worse attendance problems without the Wings coming to town.

I'm going to be in Windsor for the weekend seeing family, so I picked up tickets and will be at The Joe! Go Wings! I'll be wearing my new Holmstrom jersey. I actually got 5 tickets together the night before the game, so it won't be a sell out! I think Ozzie is due for a good game, we'll win 4-2. Goals scored by Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Franzen, and Helm. As usual, I don't care who scores for the Preds, they can go "suck it!"

I did an ice girls google search, and yea it looks like we're the only American team without ice girls. Edit: I had no idea that many teams have them!

Yea I think that blatant attempt to hit a man in the head with a history of concussions was a lot worse than the Kronwall hit. Seeing guys who hit from behind causing concussions only get 2 games, Kronwall's hit won't get anything.

I didn't see the game, for some reason I couldn't find it on the NHL Center Ice channels, but I'm wondering if that call on Perry was to send him a message that the refs are watching him, and weren't going to take any cheap shots or head hunting from him. If that was the case, I thank them. As for Selanne's comments, I find it funny coming from a team who has some of the worst poor sports, goons, head hunters, and cheap shot artists in the game. I have no time for any Anaheim complaining.

I'm not a big fan of cheer leading in general. I figure there's other places to see girls, I bought a ticket to watch sports :square:. However, I understand a Football crowd is different than Baseball and Hockey, there's more drunks and idiots at Football games. I was at a Canadian Football (CFL) game, Saskatchewan Roughriders @ Toronto Argos, a couple weeks ago, and the CFL likes to have Jr. cheerleaders along with the regular ones. All game long, even during plays, the Jr. cheerleaders were doing their routines which included waiving to the crowd then flipping right in front of our section. Luck for us we were up a few rows so they were out of view of the game. If we were down 5 rows, the Jr.s would have been blocking our view while the game was going on. I would have talked to security asking them to stop during the game, only do their routine during commercial breaks, or filed a complaint with the Toronto Argos asking for my money back. I hope the Red Wings never get cheerleaders. I like the fact in Detroit when you go to a game, you're there for the game. There's some things between breaks in the action, but not much. The Toronto area, you're bombarded with commercials, marketing, and distractions. It's almost like the game is secondary.
