Agreed. The only player I still hate is Lemieux, always will. I'll never get over things he said about Draper in the 1996-97 season. I'm ok now with Roy, Forsberg, Deadmarsh, and Foote, but Lemieux will be nothing more than scum for the rest of his life.

Apparently I have a free trial of NHL Center Ice until October 24th. The Rangers-Islander and Ducks-Blues are on, the the Pen-Devils are coming up at 4:00. I get the OHL games for free until October 24th too. Personally I'd never buy Center Ice, outside of the Red Wings games, I have no interest in having every NHL game on TV. Even the Red Wings games, I'd never watch them all. If there's a game I really want to see, I can find it on channelsurfing.net

Yes I'm replying to myself I keep hearing that hockey in Canada is a rich kid sport. I think we're starting to see that with this current crop of Canadians. Guys like Iginla, Crosby, Thornton, Getzlaf, and Perry were probably spoiled brats as kids going through hockey and had everything handed to them. They probably think it's the same way in the NHL since they're Canadian, it's "Our Game", and Don Cherry every Saturday night swelled their heads and at the same time made the Europeans look bad. As a Canadian, I've been really disappointed in how Canadians are acting in the NHL since the retirements of Yzerman, Mario, and Sakic. Canadian behavior lead by Iginla, Crosby, Thornton, Getzlaf, and Perry seems to get worse every year.

I'm really starting to think there's a problem with the Canadian players in the league. There seems to be a generation of poor sports, cry babies, and cheap shot artists towards the Europeans, lead by Iginla, Crosby, Thornton, Getzlaf, and Perry. Almost like it's a Canadian vs. European mindset. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the stuff Don Cherry says on Hockey Night in Canada?

I'm not watching the game, but thanks to SDavis35, who's sending me text messages, I hear the Ducks are gooning it up! Typical Canadian way. Give me the Europeans any day, they have class. The Canadian players are a bunch of babies and poor sports. See why I couldn't back the Canadians at the Olympics? Edit: Of course though, the Canadians on the Wings have class.
